Paul is passing blame from Congress/Senate, to the Fed. The Fed is a lender, the US Gov is the borrower. You can't blame your bank if you barrow too much money. The Fed has no interest in destroying the US currency or the US financial system. They run many central banks in almost every nation of the world. It would be tremendously bad business for a central bank to ruin a major country(USA). Paul is blaming the Fed for his fellow politicians outrageous spending habits.

People will only put up with it for so long. I think he is right on on this subject. The gov would not be nearly as bloated if it wasn't for the fed. The Majority of the American people want the Federal Reserve AUDITED. It's not a left or right issure. Ron Paul has co-sponsors from both sides of the aisle. And if someone isn't yet people gotta call those people in congress and tell them to.

And the Congress cannot pass it's constitutional duty over to the President or to the Federal Reserve. Article 1 Section 8 makes that very clear.

I always liked Montel even when he had his TV show. He was pretty classy and stayed away from the trash unlike Jerry Springer and some of the other talk show hosts. Seems like a genuinely nice guy as well.
