@1casper234 Make sure that you're actually pulling off when you change note and not simply hammering and switching. If you do not, the sound will soon fade and effectively cut off. Just keep practicing pull-offs and it will eventually just feel natural and come easy to you.
@1casper234 When you pull off you have to pull off real hard and make sure not to mute the note when you pull off - you'll mute it if you touch it with any part of your finger or hand
thats fucking rad dude ! but im having trouble with the hammer on & pull offs it wont play loud enough even with my distortion pedal on. how do you do it ?
@Tangibleapparition It took about a day to get it down to that level, i can play it much better now though. The majority of time was spent listening carefully to the notes to get it 100% right - the other cover videos on youtube at the time were incorrect
@2007Gero2007 I was just downpicking only - basically i was picking the note each time and then pulling off - so for instance
e: 0-12-0-10-0-9
I picked the first 0, and then picked 12, pulled off 0, picked 10, pulled off 0, picked 9 etc. Also yeah high sustain makes it much easier to hammer on and pull off - it should come out louder and cleared and you wont have to hit as hard - the only thing you have to worry about when doing that is keeping the other strings quiet :-)
its good but i dont no how fast to go or why does mine sound different than yours urs sounds better so mad because mine sounds slower than urs and longer so mad i need tips plez
hey thanks! i've been mad busy with work and school but i'm going to try to record some more angels and airwaves and probably some boxcar racer as well
I know! I played a little sloppy on the video, but some people gave me 3 stars and i have no idea why since i played it correctly (when the majority of people on youtube have it wrong) :-( Thanks for the support my friend!
i can play this full speed but i miss all of the open string notes :(
