He then went to Europe for a year and was the most productive QB in the league. Then he goes to San Fran to sit behind DIlfer and Smith and on a given SUnday against the team he started with MInnesota he gets the chance to play after Dilfer goes down and he throws a TD on his first possesion. How do like that

I agree 100% man, You can give all the excuses you want to Alex Smith (offensive coordinators/shoulder injury), but Shaun Hill showed more in just a couple games than Smith did in his entirety. I haven't ever liked Smith, didn't like him when he was at Utah and I don't care for him on the niners. At least Zito is starting to step it up for the Giants though haha, these last 5+ years have been tough for us Bay Area fans.
