@glittery4life Can you describe to me what your overbite is like? I used to have an underbite/edge to edge bite, but braces fixed that. I'm just wondering, are your lower teeth really far back or do your upper teeth overlap your lower teeth?

do you have those self litigating braces? I heard they move teeth faster...i have the traditional metal braces. did they shave your teeth down so they look even?
joejawsugery: Hey Joe! your progress is looking fantastic :) Surgery... i am expected to start thinking about it as early as December... or as late as February. Its def coming up fast. I didnt realize that time goes by so fast.
Elculero24: how did the elastics work with having braces? does that move your teeth faster? Im guessing your underbite isnt as serious since you dont have to get surgery? If you don't .. you are way lucky!
I don't see you using elastics from the lowwer to the upper jaw that fixed my underbite and I think I won't need surgery as long I don't grow like alot
Hey! dang your pretty< I have an underbite too and i got my braces last Feb im already 6months now so its looking great my bottom teeth are up right and closing so that is awesome! but my top whoo gotta keep working on that one. and then next year is my jaw corrective surgery ahhh!!! So I hope it all turns out well. I cant wait to see your results!

aw, yeah, me too. im very self conscious about it. im thinking about surgery, but like i said im scared, especially since im still only 14. i agree, hers isnt that serious compared to mine.
mine's still growing. i wont be able to have a surgery until it stops which sucks a lot. im scared about the outcome of the surgery! apparently you look really different after the surgery.. that might be good or bad.. hmm lets see how underbite girl's will turn out :)
I have a pretty big over bite, is the only way to fix it with jaw surgery please please tell me that braces work aswell! :(
