  • Hello

  • I think these kind of videos are great! I'd just like to put my finger on one thing. Try to keep the examples shorter. For a moment I wondered if you where explaining what a baby is or what a OS is. Got me a little confused, might just have been me :P

    Great video though!! cheers

  • I taught a similar analogy to my friend and was really happy to come back and check this video accidentally.......Really happy that there are Persons around the world to make things simple for the people.....Congratulations!!!

  • yayy your the greatest teacher ever!!!!! You should be a partner. I subscribed :)

  • Thank you all for your positive feedback. Remember you can get more lessons on my site (see link above). I also have a monthly computer question & answer live event where you can submit computer questions (no question too basic) and I answer them live during the broadcast with a replay on my site for those who can't make it to the live event.

  • The analogy led me to something. When you turn on the computer or boot it and it learns all the new things wouldn´t that mean that problems that may have occured last time, such as viruses. trojans, slow computer, go away?

  • No they wouldn't go away because they are stored on and infecting the hard drive or "parents/teachers." So the "baby" will re-learn all those "wrong lessons/skills" again.

  • This is exactly right. The virus/worm/malware is saved on the hard drive, which stores information even when the computer is turned off (see my video on hard drives and RAM on YouTube for more details on this). The virus gets included in what the "baby learns" and continues to be a problem.

  • my teacher used this in my college Computer class for his video lecture. Good job Worth!!

  • cool, pause at 3:14

  • Heh. Yes, I do look a little goofy if you pause it there. Anyone will look a little silly if you freeze-frame them. :)

Hope the explanation made sense for you though; that's the important thing.

  • tnxk men! now i know now!
