The 5.0 had 235 hp the dang v6 has that now. Why are you people so caught up on a 5.0? Are you that much of a Vanilla Ice fan?Make one big hit song about a engine and that's all anyone can talk about...lol. The 4.6 that is in the 2005 and newer makes 300 hp and will rape the old 5.0. Not that a 5.0 can't be built but so can a 4.6. Don't get me wrong I liked the 5.0 then, but the 4.6 is a much stronger motor! My Hayabusa is only a 1.3 I guess it's slow since it's a smaller engine.
