PC3 is more fine-tuning of the fuel curve in relation to the different flow offered by a less restrictive exhaust system. That could definitely lead to more power, but that's more dependent on the pipes themselves than the PC3.
I used my laptop & Coyze's map from the VFRD. It's a good all-around map for after-market pipes on the VFR. The Laser map from DynoJet was decent, but kinda lean in places especially around 5K. The baffles are the race ones. They sound better that way!
Yah... me too! I put up another vid of this exhaust system, except this time there's only 2 outta 4 pipes so it's a little louder and throaty. Check it out!
Sounds Sweet. Ive got a Scorpion Can on mine. Blew the packing clean out of it on a track day last week. The noise from it now is MENTAL! I can set house alarms off driving by! Hee Hee! VFR is a great bike.
Haha! Thats kool everyone's entitled to their opinion, but the original exhaust is one of the quietest exhausts ever put on a bike. It's like less than 85db at 5000rpms. I think you have the VFR confused with another bike.
This one is the bad-ass 4-pipe underseat exhaust for the 6th gen VFR (02-07). It's the only one JAMA Engineering currently makes for this bike. If you seen/heard it in person, well it doesn't get much better than this. Definitely unique like the MV Agusta exhaust. They do make the DuoTech and HotCam for the 5th gens (98-01) fyi.
Does the PC3 make much of a difference in actual power output? Or is it more a case of smooothing the delivery out/fine tuning etc? Cheers.

Comes with the bike.
They're $85 through Honda if you need one. There's always eBay too...

Great sound! How many types of exhausts are Laser making for the VFR? Is this the multiple (4) pipe model?
