Unfortunatly. I cannot tell you what to do other than use your index finger and beat the hell out of it in a rhythm. I used to play the Dixieland banjo so allot of the "feeling" I have comes from that. I wish I could be more helpful but
it's a feeling for rhytm that gets me there that I canot teach. Ed
And may I also say that you are amazing for responding to nearly every comment! There should be many more youtubers such as you, but alas, there are not. But as long as you're here, I'm happy! :)
Thanks you so much for the wonderful sentiment. If someone is willing t take the time to comment youtubers should respond. Of course, I don't get that many so it's easier. It is amazing t me how many people enjoy my stuff. Ed
You are the best. I just bought my first iPod a few days ago for the sole purpose of having you wherever I go. I thank you sincerely for bringing such joy to a world too quick to overlook true talent. Long Live the King of the Uke!
P.S. I think you'd do a great version of Puttin' On the Ritz. Just a suggestion!
wonderful version! there's a figure skating team who will be performing to this song this year, so i wanted to look up their music. and they picked a great choice it seems!
Thanks Sam. I never heard of a triple quadruple strum. Sounds like something that should be in the Olympics. I may hurt myself one of these days strumming any faster. ed
Thanks Gary. A bonus, to me, of doing these songs id that so many have never heard them. There are many better versions of these songs but it's nice to know that I can give an "introduction." Ed
Cool! Would you do an instructional video for this kind of strumming???!
I wanna play old songs but don't know how to do the strums/go that fast!
pleeeeessse?

Brilliant strumming, Ed!! (you're usually quick, but you go into overdrive a few times on this one.) A happy song.
