Crazy people all over the world watched this show.. I grew up right next to where this was filmed. I'd get out of school, ride my vision skateboard to the beach and watch them film. During the filming sometimes there would be a real rescue and the actors would have to sit down and watch

But I don't envy them because there is nothing like the feeling of having protected a person from mortal danger. Most of those Hollywood stars never get to know what it feels like.

I love the 1st season of Baywatch. Afterwards they changed the cast , and I lost interest. For me the treat was watching Erika Eleniak. She is much more pretty than Pam Anderson will ever be. I wish I could be a part of a show like this. Man, wouldn't that be something.

I am a big fan of baywatch. But only season 1. 'Coz I love the cast in it especially, Erika Eleniak and Billy Warlock. Erika Eleniak was really beautiful back then. It was wrong what Billy did to her, making her leave the show like that. Personally, I think Pamela Anderson can't even hold a candle to Erika. Erika is way pretty and sexy too.That's why after season 1, when there was no Erika, I just lost my interest. But I also love the other characters. Takes me back to a special time.

This isn't the original theme to season 1 of Baywatch, the original theme is called Save Me by Peter Cetera. This theme is called Above The Waterline by Kim Carnes. This was the theme tune used in the UK DVD release of season 1 of Baywatch, Save Me was used in the German DVD release. The season 2 onwards theme is I'm Always Here by Jim Jamison.
