  • It's amazing how much your game improves studing a dozen or so of Morphys games.

  • I did my version of the immortal game with queen's gambit... let's just say sh*tloads of sacrifice can still mean a win.

  • and the crowds jaws drop...

  • I'm in love with her voice :)) Could listen for annotations of a whole 20th century chess games

  • Morphy's mind astounds me. And makes me proud: I never figured human beings could THINK like that. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

  • Here are a few brilliant named games :

    Immortal Game : Anderssen-Kieseritzky, London, 1851

    Evergreen Game : Anderssen-Dufresne, Berlin, 1852

    Najdorf's Immortal : Glucksberg-Najdorf, Warsaw, 1935

    Zugzwang Immortal :Sämisch-Nimzowitsch, Copenhagen, 1923

Go and check them either on YouTube or in chessgames or chesslab
