  • I'm going to look for more of your "educational" posts. I'm a terp (we met at Deaf Awareness Day @ Marine World one year) who now has a son with Down syndrome. He hardly talks at all so I sign with him & have been looking for stories to show him. THIS IS PERFECT! (Can you tell I'm excited?) So glad you posted this. You've put a bee in my bonnet to bug the local library to get some Deaf storytellers!

  • Love it!

  • lol I enjoy watching you sign. I don't know if I'm the first to say this, but I find it is good practice with receptive skills watching you and others sign on YouTube. Thanks.

    Nice story!

  • hmm... i want to be an american sign language interpreter so bad...but i dont have enough money for college courses until next year...

any one have any suggestions on trying to teach yourself sign?

  • i'm just starting my asl interpeter training. :) i took 2 years in high school. try looking online for signs.

  • There are usually church groups who will teach you sign for free, you do not even have to be a member of their church. Also, you can go to the public libraries and get DVD's and books to help you. I studied sign this way for about five years before I could afford to do it in a college! It does help. Good luck!

  • very entertaining.

  • Cute story

  • im a preschool teacher i thought it was very entertaining.. lol i laughed!! many young deaf children will enjoy it!!
