  • Excellent FAMU!!! I am so proud to see that you all still know how to sep up a choir to obtain the best quality sound. It should be as YOU have it! Sopranos, Tenors in the middle, then Altos. Alot of choirs are using SOPS on the right. You have it textbook style. Great job!!

  • The COGIC International Mass Choir sang this song as far back as 1985 and possibly earlier. They are the ORIGINAL singers, but yes, FAMU sang the song with Twinkie Clark on their album in the late 90's.

  • I know that COGIC did it on the "He'll Bring You Out" cd. they were even doin it before that?

  • famscholar89,

You were able to record the song on your album because that particular album was titled, "Twinkie Clark Presents FAMU" She gave you the rights tor record it.

For example Endow Me was originally recorded by the Clark Sisters and so was the song that X-Scape recorded about 10 years ago, but X-Scape and Coko,Faith, Fantasia and Lil' Mo were given permission to record it for their albums. It happens a lot. Look at the credits on album and see who wrote and arranged it. Bless!

  • you betta TELL them...

  • :-)

  • They sound great. Thank God they got rid of the ORANGE AND GREEN ROBES from when they first recorded this with TWINKIE CLARK

  • when they get to "everlasting father" it look like they auditioning for the Peptobismol commercial

  • I honestly do not see how you can come up with that... definitely not funny if you were trying to make that into a joke...

  • WOW it was a joke. just a little light humor. i apologize if it upset u. i am not dissin the choir, yall are really good!!! just thought i would point it out.

  • Since we are givin shout outs to our incoming choir members...SHOUT OUT TO THE FALL 2K3 members who were in the house!!! LOL!!! Sing choir!!
