these rio grandes are winners over the texas special you have posted too (i don't know if it's because the maple fingerboar)...i have muy grandes on my clapton strat and after seeing your videos i'm gonna install muy grandes on my tele too.. regards
i have rio grande vintage tallboy in neck position on this tele and muy grande in bridge. this tele is not my favorite guitar, i just experienced with pickups on this japan tele... but i was very wandered about vintage tallboy and i replaced this pickup to my favorite MIJ '85 Squier... cool sound!
is that basswood?
