  • i love your think in this song.

  • how long have you been playing?

  • @killagingatk 12 years, as of last September.

  • @Fredbaty jeez no wonder you're insanely good

  • such a small guitar...

  • @jazandrob Or is it... Have you ever seen me and Andre the Giant in the same room?

    *The plot thickens.*

  • @Fredbaty lol cant say i have, good song tho what delay are you using i love it

  • @jazandrob Haha, cheers dude. Delay is Ableton's "Simple Delay".

  • @Fredbaty any idea on your settings and what simple delay it is? i have like 10 under that folder lol

  • @jazandrob Eh? There's only one Simple Delay - you might be talking about the presets (which are fairly pointless, on the whole). It's just a 4/16 delay time on the left and 6/16 on the right (at 73 BPM). Feedback and Dry/Wet both at 40%. Any stereo digital delay VST will be able to get you exactly the same results.

  • @Fredbaty stupid presets im fairly new with using ableton sorry but i got it working thanks so much

  • @jazandrob Kramer Nightswan, were short scale guitars; 24 3/4 inches.

  • this is fucking amazing dude.

  • suscribed!

  • Beautiful song in the night.

    Awesome Nightswan either!

    Congrats from HunGary

  • Great stuff!!! Love the Kramer as well!!!

  • What guitar are you using man ?

This is a fuckin' good song !

  • @XFrozenmetal Thanks man, glad you like it. The guitar's a Kramer Nightswan II - the HSS version of Vivian Campbell's signature guitar.

  • This is literally the most beautiful song I've ever heard.

  • That is a gorgeous guitar Fred.. another great video!

  • Loving the TesseracT shirt!

  • please man could you tab this! i´ve listened to this about 100 times and i won´t become happy again without tabs:) ???

  • @Dio442 Haha, of course man, glad you enjoy it! I've added tabs (for both 6-string and 7-string versions) to the video comment.

  • Great song, but am I going crazy or is the higher melody (from the cutaway in the video) omitted from the tab over at the UCA? God knows why I'm asking, just curious haha.

If you're doing more videos, 'Early Days' would be awesome. I love the last section of it!

  • @Wildchild037 Haha, no worries man, you're not going crazy - this version's reasonably different to the tab, and indeed reasonably different to the album version, which also slightly differs from the tab. Just to make things clear as mud!

Man, I don't even know if I can play Early Days any more - it wasn't even anywhere near as tight as I would have liked for the album, haha. Still, maybe I'll teach it to myself again one day. Glad you enjoy the songs, anyway!

  • amazing stuff man! i would love to put some drums behind this track! good stuff man keep up the good work!

  • dude you inspire me d:

  • I feel like adding some groovy drums and guitars to this, just for the lulz.

  • @superpumpernickel Well played sir. Im not trying to say that hes stealing material or anything. It just occured to me that this is performed very similarly to breathe in breathe out. It even kind of sounds the same. It also uses a delay effect.

  • This is wonderful man. thank you. I'm definitely downloading

  • I love the pacing on this one, man. Super emotive and chill.

  • Great video and great playing, Fred!

  • This is just great, I love the way you use tapping together with delay, you kinda jam with the delay and since you are tapping you can also play harmonies! And you play clean as hell!

  • love the BTBAM influence man cant wait for their new cd

  • Awesome song man. Going straight on the ipod.

Ive also been thinking about blocking my trem. Is it easy to do and are there any side effects?

  • @bakedbean1232 Thanks very much man, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, blocking the trem's no hassle at all - all you need is a saw, a bit of wood, a ruler and some sandpaper. I'm sure there are a few tutorials kicking around, but it's more or less just common sense. In terms of side effects, obviously you can't do those crazy squeals or divebombs... No great loss if you ask me! Otherwise, I noticed a serious increase in sustain, and obviously you can tune, intonate, restring and set up the...

  • @Fredbaty ...guitar a hell of a lot more quickly and easily. I won't harp on about tonal differences, partly because I didn't notice any, and partly because I'm dubious as to the amount of self-deception involved in people's claims about that sort of thing. Oh, and the final, most important side-effect - I can't put the damn thing down!

  • @Fredbaty Awesome. Thanks man, I think i'll give it a go.

  • how do i get this song?

  • @gasly678 Hi there, I've added links to download the original version in the video description. Cheers!

  • Master !!!

  • @superpumpernickel Hahaha, well, the first single I ever bought was "2 Become 1", so there could be some latent influence! I assume chicksand3 was referring to the fact that I've said this was inspired by "Breathe In, Breathe Out", but even so I would have thought the influence is fairly obvious... Hopefully it's not a rip-off, but at least in terms of the fact that it's a song revolving around clean tapping with lots of delay. Anyway, if people enjoy it, I don't really care what it sounds like.

  • This doesnt have any between the buried influence at allllll.

  • Nice! I've always liked this one. I made a Tumblr post about the Crepusculum albums recently actually, they deserve to be more popular, I know that a lot of people would be overjoyed to stumble upon some music like this, but sometimes they just need help with the stumbling part! ;D

  • Just absolutely awesome.

  • as always great work on it dude :)

  • amazing song

  • @RyanCmetal Sup ryan, your music and covers are great :D

thought id just say that since i saw you post on this vid xD

  • how do you not have a record contract yet

  • Wow. Beautiful playing as always. Never heard of someone using mahogany blocks before. It sounds so full and warm in the highs..

  • @Onyxaxe Thanks very much indeed! I'm quite sure my method's not unique, but it works very well and I finally actually have a decent amount of sustain on this guitar...
