  • @ashils8 The models are beautiful. That is there job, to be beautiful, to say otherwise is offensive. And models are naturally skinny, they may eat a healthy amount, yet still be just as skinny, because that is how they are built. It is discriminatory to suggest their natural body type is not beautiful, in the same way that is mean to say a bigger girl is ugly by virtue of her size.

  • @amywinehouserox

    PERFECT COMMENT.

  • I enjoyed the show!.....it was like a quiet fantasy...a procession of dolls from another place...the designs were like a blend of the 30's style between the everyday and the glamor of that period....the gowns ...and the coats with the faux fur or angora...mohair...I'm not quite sure what the trim on the collars and cuffs were made of....but I absolutely loved the style of them!!......and the music just added to the fantasy.....

  • those clothes are really wierd and the models look like they r dead

  • everything is cool, except the guy singing.

  • love

  • the models doesn't walk like a pro.. weird..

  • Nice show! Check Russian male models in my videos! Enjoy;)

  • OMG - When he opened the curtains, they looked like bunch of sick women waiting for the clinic to open... How thin can people be?

  • who sings the somewhere over the rainbow?

  • haha yeah the guy singing is creepy

  • Errr !....=s

  • VERSACE handbags for you girls (GirlieRewards. I N F O)

  • cool concept

  • for more fashion check out Runway Passport

  • Great show and styles!

  • 05:28 Check the model! :( The clothes are sometimes beautiful but a lot of really simple stuff that i don't really like, also the out of bed hairlook is not my taste.

  • @pycwolfy94 omg... i was thinkin the same thing! lol lol

  • typo" i wouldnt wear"

  • @pycwolfy94 rofl.

  • that first garment would wear it if u paid me too!!and grey so unflattering,,,its not about what you know its more aboiut who you know!

  • he needs more detail and better cuts on his clothes, they seem dull and flat

  • @JunoHart i agree

  • i love marc jacobs!!!!!!!!

  • I'd love to get paid to waltz around with a sullen expression in Marc Jacobs clothes. I actually would.

  • Boys & Girls of NY Fashion Week SS2011

  • Wow at the begining they look like if they don't do the walk right they were Ganna get beat and raped...

  • WOW

  • How the colors and styles change, it almost tells a story...

  • some of them the concept was stupid

  • wowww.

    theyy look like roboTsss.

    minDD (()n+r()l.

  • a harmonia e sutileza da sensualidade feminina..

  • I couldn't stop thinking of what was in their bags.

  • @iMIKK crupled up paper like the ones that are in other bag that you get from purse stores... i think.. lol

  • I love Marc Jacobs and I loved this collection. Gorgeous.

  • LOVE IT!

  • Why didn't he color their hair grey as well?

Oh well, at least he gave us a good laugh.

  • they look so hungry

  • lovely clothes...but htese models are like lifeless androids!! Real woman are alive.. They move with life. they have expressions on their faces..

  • Not his best work that's for sure, nonetheless he's a genious so who are we to critizise? Though this was a bit too vintage let's make new trends not bring the old ones back.

  • those socks with heels is not cute and its all GREY!! and their hair is not pretty neither... some of the clothes is cool to wear... i like the sparkling dresses specially with the fur on the neck... some of them had the fur which it gives a very modern classy look... the song makes a perfect touch tho

  • those socks with heels is not cute and its all GREY!!

  • I really love this years ideea with the belt...it's great!!

  • I love the music....and the entire show.... it's just...amazing how much work and effort it needs...

  • wow, he has really exsentaited the waistline this year, or covered the ugly ones up. Good job, marc jacobs. The ankle high socks are a good vintage item that can match just about any piece.

  • Sheer simplicity! Its definitely a courageous move for Marc Jacobs to go very simple. I however found that some of the pieces clashed. Such as the flowy skirts with the long trench coats. But still, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! The music was perfect for the type of show he put on. Loved it!

  • hair...oily

    model...depressed

    music...awful

    fashion....not 100% there

the menswear pieces, jackets, gowns, and most of the pieces towards the end are exquisite, but the drab pieces that the show started with look like it was all meant for a cloudy day...the rainbow hasn't come out yet at ALL.

  • No effects, no beat in the music, no poses... Models look depressed. All in all this does not seem too good to be true.

But i whould sure love to own dem purses.

  • the music doesnt go

  • beautiful cuts

  • The music "somewhere under the rainbow" in contrast with the look on their faces is almost ironic. The clothes are nice, but please...Or they put robots or they put fresh and "living" looking women...

  • i wonder which ones are actual models

  • All of their hair needs to be done..

  • @pycwolfy94 LOL

  • I'm glad women wear fur to warn people about how selfish, self indulgent and ignorant they are. Any man who dates a fur clad woman can view the documentary "Skin Trade" together and revel in their bad taste. It's a shame designers can't be more creative instead of selling out to a cheap attempt at reviving an outdated concept for the almighty dollar. Only wanna-be's wear fur, crying out for attention but fur only makes women look fat and degraded that they'd be so needy to spend $ for that!.

  • one of the best shows this fall.

but the camera man really pissed me off with the zooming.

    not well filmed. sorry.

  • The large peacoats and numerous other pieces remind me of a childs clothing, giving the model an inoccent/classic look yet theyre so clean and simple it makes the model also appear sophisticated. In my opinion at least. It's brilliant.

  • I like it, fall trends coming up

  • i love these pieces. so flowy and pretty.

  • Yes the models look so depressed ...and the clothes has a touch of pure innocence .....well Fashion MUST BE for ALL and the collection has a minimalist reflection on childhood ...I cant see it someone with very strong personality INSIDE THIS clothes ...sort of ..... well my review for this collection MArc Jacobs i might say ((((CUTE))))....nothing more than this .....

  • Ok these clothes are beautiful, and the concept is genius. But the guy singing in the background sounds creepy and I can barely concentrate on the clothes with him singing like that!

  • @CarolinaGurl99 mute?

  • @algrayce Haha I could do that...

  • @CarolinaGurl99 It was probably Marc Jacobs himself. He would. Great show though!

  • @uwi93 Yes! But they should have had the judy garland version playing, that would have been perfect! Plus the floors should have been bright blue to look like the sky. And the models should look somewhat happy...

  • Shoes/socks combo (and even just the shoes) were just terrible. I thought they were sosososo old fashioned looking.

  • @thearthippie thats the whole point this fall, back to the 40's trend

  • @GeeEsTee my comment still stands. It's just not my taste.

  • what an interesting, unique way to have a runway setup. i didnt see anything i loved per se, but there were definitely some pretty things in the collection(:

  • lol I actually thought that was Marc Jacobs singing for awhile...Beautiful line.. and I did sort of get his message with the song choice...just the guy singing was kind of creepy.

  • oh my sweet lord these are terrible, and what's with that creeping music

  • wearable clothes, nice

  • this is a bit more elegant, but also with a twist. i love it.

  • omg its genius what are ppl on about

  • wow.....now that's what i call showtime... after music, fashion is definitely the next drawer... LOVE IT...

  • show wise, i can't help the music and the narations sound corny. I know Marc Jacobs is far from corny and something definitely means something. but still though the soft voice of 'somewhere over the rainbow...' was just. ... but the clothes are sweet.

  • Its not boring, its beautiful.

  • @jeffreyjac a bit I agree

  • I always seem to thinkt that designer's clothes are ugly. I mean I understand that what I buy at forever21 was born from those creations but I can't help but feel like the designer's clothes are always horrid. I have never seen a single thing in any runway fashion show that I would wear to any event or in daily life.

  • dare i say boring?

  • Needs more color!

  • booooorrrinnnngg bring on the gucci!!

  • The Shoppaholic Network gives you this stuff for free, like the stars! They dont pay for it either!

Go to the website and check it out!

  • Прикольно!!!!))))))

  • neeed a better cameraman.

i didn't even get to the half of the video and i got dizzy.

but i love the clothes (=

  • If his influence was the great depression as it seems then he nailed it but overall I can't say that I enjoyed much of the line. There were a few standout pieces but overall it was all rather lifeless and bland.

  • I do like some of the delicate dresses but much of it is drab and baggy and dull.

  • baggy shapeless and dull

  • OMG! one of his best!! love the song too! bravo!

  • their hair's so messy

  • Eh, nothing special

  • LoL At around 2:00 they start playing "Over the Rainbow" and I couldn't help laughing about the contradiction. Unless the idea is to dream of a world in color rather then live in one.

  • Not really a vision I would like to take part in. Looks like modern factory workers, stripped from soul and passion. The music is just awkward.

  • Loved coats, sweaters, jackets but overall thought the collection was pretty drab.

  • He could've added a bit more color.

  • i like this collection, but there's nothing remarkable about it though..

  • Love it!

  • Loving the soft colour palettes and must get a hold of this "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" version MJ chose.

    Very sweet, wearable collection.

  • I know the first version is by Juliette Greco. Does anyone happen to know the artist of the second version? (starts at 6:00)

  • Looks like Marc is feeling the winds of recession...

  • great show!

  • please i need his music !!! i know that is from the wizard of oz !

but i need thid this version !!

  • i love the colthes but dam the models look depressed

  • @futuremedic1216 models always look depressed on the runway

  • @futuremedic1216 that's how they're supposed to look. they're selling clothes

  • @Whyamisoblonde that makes no sense

  • @MsMoose24 how does it not?

  • @Whyamisoblonde shouldn't they look a little jazzed to be wearing the clothes. I mean to make people want them more.

  • @MsMoose24 okay yeah i see your point there.

  • @futuremedic1216 lol thats always how the marc jacobs models look on the runway and in the ads

  • Does anyone know who the artists of the two versions of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" are? Or even the orchestration?

  • I didn' t know Marc Jacobs had a maternity line. The collection is stunning but too much gray for me. Oh well, moving on.

  • A W E S O M E

    LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

  • inglorious basterds?

  • me to there just not that kool to me but some of them are ok

  • the models are walking way to fast!!

  • they do have a lot of ground to cover..

  • love the close in on freja hahah

  • Who are the artists in this playlist (I noticed that there are two different people singing "Over the Rainbow").

  • I love how the 'over the rainbow' song comes on. This collection is amazing, as always expected from Marc Jacobs <3

  • Love this collection......Everything is wearable!!!! :)

  • Good. :)

  • a lot of the coats were nice...although many looked verrrrrrry vintage. which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

  • some of these were really gorgeous. some of these pieces just looked like fabric glued together. i liked 50% of what i saw. it got better as it went along. and whats with all the pencil then adolescent looking models? i feel like some of the beginning pieces would look so much better with models with who at least wore a B cup!

  • What a gift! These clothes are a blessing..most of all to Marc's wholesale accounts... The Department Stores like Saks,Neiman's and Bloomingdales, that are dying a slow and painful death. These clothes are like oxygen to these gasping white elephants. They are money in the bank.

  • this cover of "Over the Rainbow" gives me the willies...

    The clothes rock, though

  • Well done. He's designed some very wearable clothing (dare I say classic) with some very nice touches. It's still very downtown Marc, but a little more grown-up than the past couple of seasons. There are some collectible pieces which should retail very well. Congrats to Marc.

  • wow, props on getting the first video on YouTube.
