I have mad respect for anyone who mains Dhalsim. You gotta understand for every hit Dhalsim takes, he has to work even harder to deal damage. He truly takes patience to use effectively. You gotta have a good grasp on his weaknesses and the matchup game because Sim has loads of bad matchups.

This probably some of the best Dhalsim playing ive seen since Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha. I also like how the Ken player isnt exactly letting the fact that Shinagawa's Dhalsim is so good intimidate him.

@peruchief09 Dhalsim's long range strengths are balanced by his relatively weak attacks and that he's not suited for close range combat as much as the other fighters. If one can get in close on him (which isn't all that difficult to do), he's a good deal more vulnerable.

To Be Honest, no character is the best. If you're new to fighters, you always assume that certain characters are always better than others. However, it's always the player behind the character that makes it the best. This Dhalsim was better than Ken because the PLAYER was better, not the character.
Nope. You have to understand that tier-wise, Sagat is the best.
However, as others have mentioned, tiers are secondary to playskill in a well-balanced game. And SFIV is a well-balanced game. Even bottom-tier Vega can believably handle a top-tier Sagat, if the player is that skilled and the opponent isn't.
well dhalsim is playing the way any dhalsim plays, its just a matter of luck/skill to get past that long range defense he has, there were some points in the fight where the ken just made too many mistakes in a row.

if only he had just dashed back instead of blocking he could've won the set.
after losing that 2nd round after brilliantly pulling off the full ultra after the FADC must have been too much and couldn't concentrate for the last round. damn shame.

Seth appears to be a highly debatable topic, Some tier listings show him as high tiers, some show him as low. Some scrubs think he is low tier due to his low health and other weak stats but others know his strengths rectify these problems. Also isn't he meant to be soft banned from tournaments? Why would that be if he was so bad?

Seth is banned and generally unplayed in online matches because people only play him like the CPU does at the hardest level -- and that is cheap as fuck

ok, i picked this game up a few days ago, i loved the good ole sega genesis days of sf2 , but whats this, i totally suck at this one...is this normal ..because i am quite good a games, but this one makes me get blisters lol, any advice?

i have alpha series, snk vs capcom 2, and marvel vs capom2 and still sucked at this game when i first got it .... u have to get used to the speed you play fast and yet its kinda slow

dude.. I fucking suck at this game.. it's way different than previous streetfighter games.. Moves are way difficult to execute, + the 360 controller isn't very good for beatem ups me thinks.

yes dhalsim is the best according to me..u must know how to use 2 moves properly in him 1.teleport 2.yoga fire in tangential direction in the air...cuz everyone try to attack dhalsim from the air as his ground movements are very good..

To Be Honest, no character is the best. If you're new to fighters, you always assume that certain characters are always better than others. However, it's always the player behind the character that makes it the best. This Dhalsim was better than Ken because the PLAYER was better, not the character.

Nope. You have to understand that tier-wise, Sagat is the best.
However, as others have mentioned, tiers are secondary to playskill in a well-balanced game. And SFIV is a well-balanced game. Even bottom-tier Vega can believably handle a top-tier Sagat, if the player is that skilled and the opponent isn't.

well dhalsim is playing the way any dhalsim plays, its just a matter of luck/skill to get past that long range defense he has, there were some points in the fight where the ken just made too many mistakes in a row.

i've watched this vid so many times and I feel horrible for the ken player every time.
if only he had just dashed back instead of blocking he could've won the set.
after losing that 2nd round after brilliantly pulling off the full ultra after the FADC must have been too much and couldn't concentrate for the last round. damn shame.
