It's a shame that they are poisonus, because is the best animal I ever saw...
Anyone knows if they can pass thru a surgery to put that poison out in a permanently way to become a non-poisonus animal for the rest of his life?

@AnonymousQuarks I don't think the females are venomous... But even still, Platypuses are wild animals, not pets. It would be inhumane to deprive them of their natural habitat by keeping one as a pet.
