I liked hearing it in Spanish, even though I didn't get a lot of it. The phony accents in the movie always embarrassed me -- I wish they could have sung it in Spanish!

mmm. dude, please don't be that ignorant. the puertoricans in this play have been in the US for less than 1 year, so it's more probably that they would speak spanish. I know in the official play they do it in english, doesn't they can't do it in spanish. i think this sucks too.
