  • u need some m+s bro

  • this was my birthday :)

  • yo i have an 02 libertyhow did you get them lights on the top

  • Yeah I had a jeep liberty and it had allot of power . It was very fun to drive anywhere.

  • nice video...i have a 02 liberty as well...i do take it off road and it performs really well...i could probably do more with it but it is such a nice vehicle i am nervous i may hurt it...i really like your light rack...great camera work

  • Where did you get your light rack from...is it custom made?

  • Where did you get your light rack from...is it custom made?

  • FAIL.

  • Whats the difference between Jeep Liberty's Sport, Renegade, and Limited? I'm looking for serious offroading.

  • @strapinhotpockets From what I know, Sport is the lowest end model, Limited is the next step up, usually with all the gadgets and alot of power options, and the renegade is the highest model, coming stock with the light bar/rack and better suspension.

  • Where did you get the light Bars From? They look slick

  • Which jeep should i get? the wrangler or the liberty as my first car?? Please responde!

  • @1496edward If i could Choose again, I would go back to a Wrangler. There is a whole lot more options for upgrades, and accessories. Plus top down driving is the best.

  • @TheREALStampey The Liberty is a waste of time and money in my opinion especially for off road use... I'm a huge Jeep fanatic but Chrysler has ruined the Jeep brand along with everything else they get their hand's on... with the exception of the 359 cummins which isn't even theirs!

  • @1496edward for me the liberty, because it can pull more trailer weight. at least it's rated to pull up to 5k pounds. the wranger is only rated to 2-3.5k so it really depends on your needs.

  • @1496edward Liberty isnt a Jeep. if you want a Jeep you get an XJ, YJ, TJ or maybe a JK. Liberty is a chrysler monstrosity.

  • This is good for a stocker. I have an '03 with over 170,000 and it's great on the road and still decent off road.

  • What is the name of the music in background??

  • It would have made life a heap easier going up the steps if the tyre pressures were dropped....

  • @rillychilly It definitely would have made a difference! I was new though.

  • Good to see someone actually using a Liberty. Not really a jeep fan, but it's still good to see one being used.

  • yeah probably you need a new tires haha XD

  • Yessir, completely stock. Not lift, offroad tires or locked differentials.

  • open diffs?

  • its the pedal on the right

  • Comment removed

  • Where'd you get those aux roof lights?

  • Most times people post these videos with the worst music imaginable.

    Thanks for the nice tune!

  • I drive a 2007 Stock Black Liberty. It's great! I don't do this kind of off-roading, but its nice to know that I could. My simple real world challenges are primarily limited to my own driveway. It's a long curvy hilly rutted dirt drive that begins with a pretty steep incline. It's obnoxious when muddy or with deep snow and/or ice. I used to hate it, but now its kinda fun. Sometimes I drive through deep snow in the yard just for kicks. The wife thinks I'm crazy.

  • hey were did u get thos clear blinkers

  • @mustang661c You can get clear turn signals, or blinkers on Ebay for probably 20 dollars or so. That's where I bought my pair.

  • @TheREALStampey Hello, and what about the extra lights you have on the roof, they look pretty nice did you do it yourself ?

  • I dont understand how people call these Jeeps mom-mobiles. I love my 2006 Jeep Liberty. Just because its more "round" than a Cherokee, there is no reason to be hating. Black is the way to go too. =P

  • @MrWaffer07 Because they have a IFS, not a SFA. But the Jeep Liberty is just as capable as a factory non-rubicon Jeep Wrangler. People complain more about the Liberty not being a jeep more than the real non jeeps, patriot and compass.

  • I dont understand how people call these Jeeps mom-mobiles. I love my 2006 Jeep Liberty. Just because its more "round" than a Cherokee, there is no reason to be hating.

  • thats a sick stock lib, and damn jeeps stock are unbeatable!!! JEEP FOREVER i miss mine, 91 jeep cherokee 2dr 5spd wiht 5inch life kit, RIP but stick video man and i love your jeep

  • It looked like you guys had fun!

  • Dude, are those street tires? xD Nice Jeep btw.

  • ok, i own a 2005 liberty renegade and i love it, love it!! but the thing just wastes so much gas!! lol

  • you shouldve just ordered a renegade light bar and installed it yourself instead of the light bar you have

  • @benjamin47able Sure if you're made of money and like the look of those bulky pieces of plastic. But seriously those are lower profile and would be adjustable. The better choice

  • @droopynutz1 they only cost like 150 dollars but ok you've made your point.

  • wife just got a 2002 liberty sport, how well do these things wheel? what should i think about upgrading/replacing first? Thanks

  • Liberty's kick ass. At least the original body style does, I'm not sure how well the new style goes off road but I definitely don't like the looks of the new ones. ~02' Limited~

  • what song is this? and i got an 06 liberty, it's fun to go offroading but there window regulators give out alot than i got to replace them lol

  • awesome Jeep. looking forward to get my Jeep Renegade after long year of Mustang I had enough of speed TIME FOR OFF-ROAD!!!!!!!!

  • a nice 02 when they were still owned by merc

  • Don't comment on a video if your just hating... Go Jeeps.

  • Hey can anyone help me. I have a 2007 trail rated jeep liberty with 17 inch rims but with road tires. I am really looking for some nice off road tires i believe that a 15 inch would be better for off roading and there are more tire choices for that size. So my question is what kind of tires would you recommend and what kind of rims. Thank you for your help.

  • I have a 2002 limited and enjoy the same types of wheeling. I would have to say that your skills are good, but your tires are lacking. Get a set of BFG all terrains and you will have more grip. Oh and keep making videos its good stuff

  • I don't know why people always badmouth Libertys. No, they aren't army tanks, but they are quite capable and have some good specs even at stock level. Maybe it is because they don't look like they just rolled out of WWII like most other Jeeps so people think they're wussy or something, but I think they're great. For a person who needs something somewhat economical and practical but also capable off-road you can't really beat it.

  • @kingv911 how exactly are they capable? Yes they make GREAT mall crawlers, but they arent jeeps. look at my completely stock Jeep go through those super easy trails I got videos of. I dont see a libby doing even that.

  • This guy might not be the best at picking lines but he has excellent vehicle contol which is the key to technical off roading. Its what allowed me to drive my 95 subaru legacy up a mile long rocky ass trail where i eventualy got stuck trying to go through a ditch and a kid in a 99 s-10 4x4 with 33's on it couldnt get to where I was to pull me out. It took a 4 runner.

  • @slammo10: don't be a hater,he made it up the steps, didn't he? BTW: Na na na nanana to all who said stock Jeep Liberty cannot climb worth sh*t .... JEEP=Recovery Vehicle!!!

  • @snottyxraygirl I wasn't hatin. just doesn't look like that experienced of an off roader. But you gotta start somewhere! If I ever get married, my wife is gonna have a badass KJ :) Jeep Life!

  • @slammo10 Ok buddy! hope you do find a wife who shares your passion! I drive a Jeep Liberty Limited Edition,it ain't new but it is goood!!!! I hope to keep it a long time! I do not care for what they did to the new ones, the body style is all wrong to me..just my opinion. You are right, all must start somewhere...my first experience was a disaster!=) RIGHT ON!!! JEEP LIFE!!!!

  • @snottyxraygirl Nice. agreed, the new KKs went straight to a mom-mobile. If you've never been stuck, you've never been off-roading! That's what I always say, and can back it up with at least 15 times of being stuck, and at least +5K in repairs!

    Just Empty Every Pocket! O|||||||O

  • cool. first time wheelin?

  • I've got a 2007 Liberty, black like yours. Love it. It's the first 4x4 I've ever had. Living in Michigan and having to deal with ice and snow on my long hilly dirt driveway, I will never be without 4x4 again. Love it. My wife laughed cause I deliberately drove it off the driveway and through the deep snow when I first got it, just so I could say "Look what I can do!" 4x4 = fun, even if its just a stock Liberty. Congrats getting up "The Steps". That was cool!

  • Love the video! Makes me proud of my 03 libby! Jeep on!

  • Where did you get the Lightbar?

Yeah I tow a 1000lb (factory dry weight) boat and I honestly can't even tell that I am towing it no bounce or pull...even with the 6 cylinder engine apparently geared right....I have read that people to their much heavier campers 3 or 4000 lbs. and they give it a good review.

  • DODGE/JEEP>kings of off road

  • Looks like fun

  • may try airing down the tires for that stair set like 20psi, bitchin truck man looks like fun

  • thats just like my jeep!

i LOVE the light bar..i cant wait to do that with mine and then get a replacement bumper. this video makes me sooooo happy to have a jeep liberty!

  • thanks for the band name(Y)

  • hi i noticed you had the tow hitch on yours i am thinking of buying a liberty to tow about a 2000LB boat and i was wondering how it does with towing? i know it has a towing capacity of 5000LB but i was curious on how it handles itself with towing espescially on an unpaved boat ramp and the highway?

    Thanks!

  • @mickyandy 5k is a bit much for a liberty. Too short of a wheel base and too light. I towed 5k boat with a cheokee and it was nearly disastrous on the h-way at 50mph. I now have a 05 hemi Durango that tows way better. Not just for power, but for handling, safety wise.

  • Liberty?

  • best thing about this clip is the Pinback song LUVit

KJs do rock ( still called cherokees here in Oz)

  • It all depends on the rim, some will fit and others will not. You would have to get a rim with less backspacing those Mickey's are too wide. They would rub too much.

  • wow im really surprised with the liberty the hill climb may have been a little much ofr it but then it could have just been the stock tires. great vid!!

  • LOve your jeep. I was wondering, do you know the smallest size wheel you can put on the liberty? Can you put a 15 on?

  • u can but it will reck ur under carige and shocks

  • Really ? As long as the wheel is clearing the brakes and rotors, how does it affect the undercarriage? I have a set of 30x10.50x15 Mickeys that I'm dyin to put on my sisters Lib. Thanx

  • why ?

  • if you had lockers, you would of made it up the steps frist try. Nice wheeling tho

  • its no fun if u make it up the first try!!!!

  • how is called this song?

  • Sender by the band Pinback

  • this i a jeep liberty sport, Hey maker of this video where did u get those cool looking grill inserts cuz i want some COME VIEW MY VIDEOS

  • Grill inserts were home made out of some Rain gutter covers. You can find them at home depot or similar.

  • What type of Liberty is this? Sport, Limited or Renegade?

  • yup, im buying one

  • sweet you just sold me on a liberty over the escape

  • @huey359900 Oh man I hope you did not buy the Escape I had an 05, i just traded it in and got a liberty, the jeep is a million times better!!

  • @huey359900 Oh man the escape sucks! I traded mine for the Liberty

  • @huey359900 I just got rid of my Escape for a Liberty!

  • you obviously don't know how to drive....

  • Thanks man

  • obviously your a hater and you need to take some notes

  • nice dude, i recently took my 04 down to hollister with my new tires, hit up the mud pit n all that shit. wat parts did u use for the off road lights tho

  • Dude, at 2:31: Dont try to get throw obst ina perpendicular way. Try to go throw 'em like in a 45º. That way, it doesnt side skid n doesnt needs lots of traction. Then again, at 4:16, when it just doesnt stop skiddin', swing your tires. Set da wheels all da way to da right, then all da way to da left. Back and Forth, till you get out. Last: When gasin', do it mre gently so the tires can use da torque and dont start spinin wrong. Got a Liberty 4x2, and believe me, it works ;)

  • Light bar is custom Made. All the parts can be found at a home depot, or similar store.

  • i have the same question as the guy before me...

  • hey i have a question i have a 2002 liberty exsacly like urs... i have been looking for the lights over head... and i see that ur lights are connected to the roof rack.... i like that better then what the renegade has... where did u get those light... or should i say... what is the name of those lights??? thanks

    sincerly ...

    a liberty fan

  • i love the light bar, i think he made it himself though, i was thinking of fabricating something and putting it on for sale, maybe use hid lighting system with aluminum bar connecting to the luggage rack

  • Its great to see that the Liberty has such clearance capabilities. They look like a lot of fun.

    (I own a '02 grand cherokee 4x4)

  • Where did you get the light bar? I've been looking for something other than the Mopar piece to put on my 04 KJ.

  • what is that song playing in the background? who sings it? and nice vid. i also have a KJ but with a lift and a few other mods

  • The song is called sender, by the band pinback. Thanks. The kj is now lifted and doing well waiting for tires patiently. :)

  • what album is that on?? and what lift did u go with?? i have a Rusty's.. are u a member of LOST

  • I believe its on the album Summer in abbadon. I have the rusty's 2.5 inch coil lift right now . I am a member of lost, Stampey. I might have been kicked out for being inactive though i dont post much. L.o.s.t. Norcal

  • what light bar is that, I like it

  • what ground clearance do you get?

  • Very nice vid! I just got a 2004 Liberty, all stock, couldn't believe where that thing will go!

Do you custom make that Light bar?

  • The new ones look like the Nitro... I can't believe that they would change it to look like Commander + Nitro...

  • it's called economics. just like how the roadrunner, charger, coronet and satelite all had the same chassis,it's cheeper for the nitro and liberty to just have different grilles.

  • see thats a jeep liberty not that new pease o shit 08 model

  • The new ones actually have a better suspension than the older models.

  • maybe but the 02-07 will outcrawl the 08 since the 08s have only a 3.25 axel ratio unless the 4-lo was lowered to 3.25-1 from 2.75-1 to compensate fir a higher axel ratio

  • Amen, the new 2008 looks idiotic. There wasnt anything wrong with Liberty's design

  • jeep should never of dropped the cherokee, that was the 2nd best off roader they produced... libertys suck...

  • So do the Outlander

  • Nice work... where did you get that grill?

  • Nice vid. Nice looking Jeep too.

  • Is it diesel or normal gassoline ?

  • Did you air your tires down? If not, I'm pretty sure you would have made it up those steps pretty easy, you wouldn't believe the difference it makes.

  • makes me glad ive owned wrangles lol really the only offroader left. My crd is a highway cruiser

  • Yes its an auto. I have also updated the lightbar, and its now lifted. Waiting on money to grab some bigger tires.

  • very nice ...is it automatic?

  • Hey Stampey, nice video. By the way, I'm desertkj on the Liberty forums, talked to you a few times before.

  • Been 4x4 all over California in my Jeep and Hollister is by far the best 4x4 park I've been to. It is nice to see a liberty out there on the trails, I was impressed to see it make it up the staircase. Hit me up if you ever need a 4x4 partner at Hollister, my rig is an 02 wrangler.

  • Gotta love the traction control in my '07 Liberty. I never get stuck.

  • Needs lockers most of all, he ran out of traction on the steps because he doesn't have lockers. Also needs some skilz, he could have gotten up the steps better if he'd given it a little brake to get some torque to the non-spinning wheels.

  • Nice fun vid dude!!! Where did you get those bar light from ?

  • nice for a start, but time for some mods? tires, skidplates, and a lift? nice vid.

  • Well gonna keep this bad boy stock, have plans for a YJ to be my wheelin car.

  • It was nice to see another Liberty off-road.

    Thanks for posting!

  • I would like to make love to your jeep and have many little jeep babies that I could teach to crawl all over rocks and climb up hills.

Also, under 'related videos', Beverly Hills 90210 Opening Credits for season 2 appears. This is ridiculous. This video is much more like Season 1's opening credits, not season two. I notified youtube.

  • if you get it in limited edition its got the trail rated stuff land pimped!
