@jnrocks1 yes if you've flown some sort of aileron controlled plane or some plane with roll control successfully, be it on a sim or real life. what you would want if you haven't flown a plane with roll control would be to build a high wing plane with dihedral that is a full four channel plane, or put ailerons on your previous plane, if it doesn't already. if it does then this would be a great second plane

I love your analysis on the hovering thing. You basically figured out what NASA does for rocket building. The center of mass has to be in front of the center of pressure. The center of pressure is basically the center of gravity of a cross-section of your surface area, meaning equal surface area on either side of the point. With how prop planes hover, you were exactly right; the further apart the two are, the more stable the flight overall.

Your the best, however I don't much care for one of your sponsers Hobby King. I purchased a HK 7 Tx & 8 chan Rx from them back in May. I also ordered 2 TX lipos for the HK TX and 2 Extra RX's for later. This was the new V-2 Radio. Last week I tried to use the 2 extra RX's and they wouldn't bind with the TX because they sent me the non V-2 version RX's. Now because some time has passed they won't let me return these for an exchange.

Think before you buy from these people.

@chongracer1 I'm going to try spare esky EK2-0704 Gyro gyros ive got kicking about i dont see why they shouldt work. ive built a few of these planes and havet really nailed a good power seup yet, i've tryd 2826/10 1400kv 2212/10 1400kv 3020 1800kv 2830/8 1300kv 2826-6 2200KV with a 3 cell 1000mah lipo 8x4.5 9x4.5 prop. all fly with varying succes none with awsome power. im going to try a dumpy looking turnigy c2822 1400kv off a mate. anybody built one of these and have loads of power?

@EliasOwnage95 you would need a bigger motor, oops more weight on the nose, you will need to balance the weight, oops, 2 much weight for those little wings, conclusion, dont put a bigger propeller...

@heberorozco ysa, and that is where gyros come in handy.... they can get pricey, but it REALLY helps.

@Kpilot786457 i have previous experience in helicopter flying and i think that it helps me a lot, i had some dificulties trying to fly it vertically but after a while (whithout gyros) it was pretty good, i just broke the motor mount due to winds blowing at 5-10mph my cousin said that i was crazy to fly now hehehe

@koolmini5 Yep, u can put wheels on, normally u use 2 Front wheels and a small one back, or a tail dragger. But u can use 2 centre and one front to, but its not very normal.

hey flash get the prop motor esc and lipo's from ebay ! very very cheap as in motor prop and esc for $20-$25 :) just got all radio for £50 or about $75

I'm pretty sure it won't matters at all. The good thing is that you can get a better and harder structure by putting some coats of varnish to the wood. But balsa is more fragile than foam. In case of a crash  your plane is gone. Plus it is slightly more expensive.

Trimming is used to adjust the plane so when it goes a little bit to the right.

You have to trim it to the left and then it will fly straight.You can trim multiple things.

You can make a motor mount out of a flat piece of plywood or bass. You screw the motor to that and shape it to fit the slots on the nose of the plane.
