true music vocal wise of one's self is just them singing with no background or anything else, just them and there voice alone and if they sound good with only there singing voice then they can sing, if you need all this synthesizing and auto-tune and all that other crap to sound good then you suck and shouldn't even be called a "singer", but that's just my OPINION

I like a band that as soon as I heard either the background music or the lead vocal's voice I'll know instantly its that band and I'll be a song of theres I'm hearing for the first time, and this is definitely doable with this band Passion Pit but since his voice sucks live meh =/

its more of a synthesizer band, so of course they arent going to sound like the studio track. so STFU and keep your ignorant comments to yourself. im more of a rock listener than music like this, but i still love this song. and i've heard rock bands sound worse than this live. trust me, i have.

@oproski there's a band i listen to and its called Breaking Benjamin, and they did a live performance, the singer didnt sound his best, but he addressed to the crowd before hand he had a cold. so yea, i've heard singers with a cold sing.

@bloodvein3 There's no way you can compare Ben Burnley with Mike Angelakos. Ben has an amazing and powerful voice. I'm sure he did decent even with a cold. Mike on the other hand has a pipsqueak of a voice and would just fizzle out with a cold. That's what I meant.

Thank you! I completely agree. When I first heard this song on the radio, I was impressed that the male singer could sing in that range. Then I heard them live. I've actually been looking for a vid of a good live performance by them, but I doubt one exists. Everyone else just seems to ignore just how bad the vocals are...
