  • Very Nice

  • @tigrescruzazul2 Thanks!

  • Nothing sounds or has a Mersey sound like a Rickenbacker!!!!

  • That's one nice sounding guitar!

  • @AlainBradette Thanks!

  • great work buddy!

  • @rastafarievers Thank you!

  • you are rich

  • Without doubt. The best Beatles cover..

Just wanted to know.. Which Amp do you use.. Cause it sounds exactly the same.. :D :D :D

  • @3much4u Thanks! I am using one of my Fender Hot Rod DeVille 4-10 amps.

  • @BuddyClontz Thnx mate..

  • I love this version, it sounds like roger mcguinn had joined the Beatles .

  • @MrChrisveitch Thanks!

  • New Rickenbackr you got there ?

  • @karagerrard No, I've had it several years now. It's a great guitar.

  • Good cover of a great old song

  • AWESOME guitar cover-Super Rickenbacker sound*****5+ see you my version!!! :-)

  • @Urankar3 Thanks!

  • Is that a gretsch i can see in the background? If so, what model?

  • @trash266001 No, I don't own a Gretsch but I will buy one eventually. That guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Custom(Custom Shop model).

  • Good Stuff

  • sharp!

  • Brings me instantly back to 1964! God Bless You!

  • @mschnittker Thanks!

  • Fantastic

    Your really enjoying that :)

    5*****

  • how many years have you been playing for? your incredible!

  • @Bellarc007 More than 40 if I include the drums....

  • @BuddyClontz thats awesome

  • Hey Buddy, just wanted to ask what Rick would you prefer to someone who is a rhythm guitar player?

  • @ScullyboyDX I like the 360-6 or the 360-12. They do have narrow necks(more of a challenge with the 360-12) but they both are absolutely great instruments. Nothing else on this Earth will sound like a 360-12 or 370-12 which are my favorites overall.

  • YOU NEED TO GIVE SOME YOUTUBE LESSONS!! UR KILLING ME WITH THAT GREAT PLAYING..

  • @freddy8486 Thanks!

  • Great. Thank you. Peace.

  • Very nice. Nothing like the "jingle-jangley" sound of a Rick

  • well done!! What a GREAT cover. Thats a really awesome rickenbacker. I play guitar too and would love to be able to play like that. Im only 13 though

  • man that rick sounds like bells ringing

  • where'd you get your tabs for this. fantastic playing mate :)

  • @kjp1909 Thanks! I don't use tabs. I play by ear.

  • @kjp1909 Thanks! I don't use tabs. I play by ear.

  • bloody great mate :) where you get your tabs?

  • will you make a lesson PLEASE PLEASE FOR ME

    LOL

  • awesome job man...nothing like a singing Rickenbacker!

  • Thank you!

  • Good job. I had never wondered what Please Please Me would have sounded like if George had had his 12 string when they recorded it, but now I know. Liked it. Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you! However, I'm sure George would have done a much better job with it than I did. He was a fine musician.

  • You rock - keep on playin. This song is a classic.

  • Also, Buddy:

Were you running this into a Jangle Box or any other kind of compressor or was this guitar to amp?

  • I used a compressor setting that I tweeked out of my Yamaha DG Stomp. I will probably buy a Jangle Box or similar stand-alone compressor eventually. I've heard good things about them although they are a bit pricey.

  • Buddy,

Was this a limited edition run? Because I have always been the biggest fan ever of the 360-12 model, but this model is R-E-A-L-L-Y impressing me. Before your videos, it was a foregone conclusion for me that I was going to buy the 360-12 in Fireglow, but this sounds terrific.

  • My 360-12 is a standard model and not a limited run issue.

  • I gotta get me one of those! Nice playing mate! Thanks for sharing!

  • me regala una guitarra???????????

  • Dude, you need a Gretsch Duo Jet with Dynasonic pickups. Love your videos.

  • Probably just a matter of time...LOL

  • @darkknight91 Both John and George played the Gibson J160E on this song....

  • you rock

  • fuck the negs your cool as fuck man, love it

  • Thats a nice looking Rickenbacker you got there!

  • Thanks!

  • Should have been played on a Gretch Country Gentleman instead of a Rick.

  • I don't buy a guitar for every song I play...

  • @beerborn

George used a Duo-Jet on this song.

  • Sounds great and the guitar is beautiful!

  • not in tune

  • LOL

  • The only problem I have with this. Is it's too bright.

  • i could need you in my band called Käfers..

    youre good^^

  • good job and nice Rickenbacker 最高!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • This is so good! I recently got some recording gear, and your I Want To Hold Your Hand cover really helped. Thanks again.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • great guitar.. you rock men!!! fantastic!!! Viva Harrison!!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • can i ask how much is the guiter your playing worth ??

    lol luke

  • It probably retails for around $4000 but most of them sell for less than that...if someone will sell you one. Mine is NOT for sale. -BC

  • Wow..... Just superb! Nailed it! Would you say that the Ricks are worth the money? I've never had the privlege to play one.... but good video though!

  • Thanks! In my opinion(and I own a lot of nice guitars), Rickenbackers are well worth the money. -BC

  • It's been a while since I've visited one of your vids Buddy. You're still awesome! Keep on rockin'. That Ric sounds great as usual!

  • Many Thanks! - BC

  • I really liked this one great cover!

  • Thank You! -BC

  • Great Job! You were having fun on this one.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Awesome! :D

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Very nice playing and sound!

I have a new Rickenbacker 360/12 and wonder what strings you primarily use. I've heard that Pyramid flatwounds are the best but are they much better than, say Elixirs at half the price?

  • Thanks! personally I use the Rickenbacker Brand strings on my Rics. I've never used a set of Pyramids so I can't say anything about them. -BC

  • I'm pretty sure that george in the introduction chords (with armonic on album version) use two strings. The same technique used in song like FROM ME TO YOU, and in the end of IF I FEEL.

    Anyway, beautiful work.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Wow you're really good!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • SZounds Good!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • please please me my dear like i please u ahh

your a really great guitarist i barely got a an acoustic one from target and it came with the papers saying stuff like a minor and my fingers hurt i hope to be as good as u

  • Nice Beatles cover as usual!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • great cover, and nice guitar! what amp should i use if i want to sound like you? :D

  • Thanks! I use a Fender Hot Rod DeVille 4-10 tube amp with my Rickenbacker guitars. -BC

  • ok thanks!

  • ypur an awesome guitarist!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • hey you gotta a stockpile of ricks how bout sending one my way lol

  • Gewoon heel goed!!!!!!!!!!

  • why do you always use a 12 string

  • I don't...see the other videos. -BC

  • Because Rickenbacker 12 strings are the best guitars ever made.

  • Thanks Buddy for some ideas. I've a 360-12 for some years. I thought I was the only one who relished the sound.

Into my Bandmasters and Showman with compressor but the VOX AC 30 makes it shine.

    Ray in SC

  • Thanks Ray... I think I'll get a Vox AC30 eventually. -BC

  • How much does a Rickenbacker cost?

  • They are not cheap...but they are fine instruments that are made as well as any custom shop model out there. Rickenbackers are very special guitars. Buy one and you'll see what I mean. -BC

  • Thanks! -BC

  • AWESOME man!

  • great playing hoss....thanks for bringing back some awesome memories.

  • Thank you! -BC

  • for the price,tone and weight,i prefer a fender,'cause they are popular,but I,don't hate a rick lol !.

  • I like Fenders too...but The Rickenbacker has a special sound. I also own 4 Fenders so I've always kept a few Strats around. -BC

  • Thanks! -BC

  • how did you learn all of these songs??

cause i wanna cover some soo bad!

  • I just listened to the music and played along with it...but I've been listening to some of these songs for over 40 years now...so that helps. -BC

  • Thanks! -BC

  • lovely song, fab sound, please buddy send some songs onto youtube please

  • love the sound brillantly played.

  • Is that a yamaha SG in the bottom left ?

  • No...That is an old Epiphone Genesis that I have owned since it was new in 1979. I weighs a ton...but it is a good guitar. It is basically a Les Paul with a double cutaway. -BC

  • How much does that Rickenbacker cost?

I'm getting my own electric guitar soon and I want a Rickenbacker. My brother's got a les paul. You're really good... did you work this out, do you have a book or do you look at tabs. Keep these Beatle tunes coming! :D

  • Thanks! The Rickenbackers like I play are the 360 series and 370 series...in both 6 and 12-string models. They vary in price but you are probably going to pay somewhere between $1800-$2500 US Dollars for those if they have the vintage toaster reissue pickups. They are great guitars...and nothing else sounds like them. -BC

  • Hey BC!!!Beatles 4ever-Amazing cover 10*!!!

  • Thank You! -BC

  • do you find that almost all of the beatles tracks are recorded slightly flat or sharp from standard tuning? whenever i play along with my guitar perfectly in tune it always sounds off. and i will have just been playing along other songs fine so i know its not my guitar.

  • I have found this to be true with a number of songs. -BC

  • your really good, i was just wondering how long you have been playing?

  • Thanks! I've played guitar off and on for 30 years...and drums for 40 years. -BC

  • thank you for this. I wish you would get closer so I can see your fret work better. I am trying to play with ya

  • Thanks! I'll try to keep that in mind when I do some more covers. -BC

  • very nice. thats a sick guitar ya got too!!

  • great cover are you using a chous?

  • Thanks! No I don't believe there was any chorus on this one. That is the sound of the Rickenbacker 370-12 creating that chorus effect. I think the compression makes it more pronounced in the video. -BC

  • awesome it sounds really nice..also to play the studio version do you know what tuning this is in thanks bc

  • I'm in standard tuning. -BC

  • Great stuff.Any chance of doing 'I Call Your Name'?

  • Thanks! Maybe down the road. I know most of The Beatles songs...so choosing the ones to put up is sometimes difficult because I don't have the time to do them all. Thankls for watching! -BC

  • nicly done

the beatles are my fav. band

    thats a good cover

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Nicely Done

    Dean, England!

  • Many thanks! This was a fun song to do! It's hard to go wrong with any Beatles tune! -BC

  • Buddy Clontz for President! I love your guitar collection!

  • Thanks...but I'm no where near politically correct enough to be the President...LOL -BC

  • wow not bad! nice!damn cool la!

  • awesome guitar! How much did you get it for? Also, have you played anything on it in Open-G tuning. man does it sound great on the ricks!

  • Thnaks! I have about $2500 in that particular Rickenbacker. I don't play in anything but standard tuning. -BC

  • I've tested one a Rickenbacker 330 and I swear the sound was unlike any guitar I've ever played, I love the sound more than a Les Paul or a Strat, except I do have a fondness for Telecasters, but the Rick I played, it played better and sounded better, more like richer, than any thing I've played, and for my age I've played alot of different guitars, but obviously not near as many as you Bud!!!!

  • Well...I've played a lot of guitars...or at least tried to...LOL Rickenbacker is certainly one of the finest guitar brands ever produced. They have a custom shop level of quality in a production instrument...but you must understand that much of their building process is by hand and is labor intensive with great attention to detail. I like them enough that I own 4 of them...and will eventually purchase more...unless someone wants to give me one! :-) BC

  • one of the most forgotten guitars in a time where gibsons and fenders are the most popular, I personally love them but it's great how people are so quick to forget the rick, well notice the rhyme!

  • I have all of the above and a few others in my collection and I'll tell you that there is nothing else out there like a Rickenbacker. They truely have a sound that is unique and the quality of their instruments is outstanding. -BC

  • legendary, great playing man!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • so fucking good!!

  • Great stuff, Buddy. This has always been one of my favorite Beatle songs. Thanks.

  • Thank You! -BC

  • for how long have you been playing?

  • Drums...about 40 years...Guitar...about 30 years. -BC

  • Well I wish I could play like you one day! REALLY NICE AND INSPIRING, Thank you 4 sharing!

  • Thank You! -BC

  • Very good and very groovy !

  • Thanks! -BC

  • awesome!!awesome!!

  • Thanks! -BC

  • you seem to be happy while you play xD...I would also be if I had those guitars ¬¬.

Cheers from Argentina! (great playing :P)

  • Thanks! -BC

  • rick

  • Dude your cover versions are the best on the tube. You should do some Nirvana.

  • Thanks! -BC

  • Sounds real nice Buddy.

Just curious about the B (or B7) you play at 50 seconds in?

Can't quite make out the fingering, but it looks different than the stock B major barr chord.

  • Thanks! It's just a B chord. It looks funny because that is how I played it...LOL -BC
