  • is that mexican or american strat??

  • @ilovegemgem

    Mex.

  • How long have you been playing?

  • Les Paul Wins.

  • Getting my first guitar this weekend. CAN'T WAIT

  • for that piece of music you want the les paul because it is a thicker tone but for other things the strat is better

  • I'd say turn the gain and delay down a bit and stick with the strat. Much clearer sound.

  • Esta mal tocado

  • The strat sounds much more twangy and bright, which is imo a better sound than that of les paul.

  • you would get a better sound if your where to use the neck pickup

  • Both sound nice, but in my opinion, the Les Paul is much more beautiful then a fender ;) I ordered a Epiphone Les Paul yesterday :D

  • 0:29 2:20

  • epiphone win

  • if u cant get a nice control of the fretboard while standing. sit down man. tone is more important than posture...

  • fender win!

  • these two guitars are my dream :D

  • you are playing the intro and the main theme on different tunes.. still a great cover man

  • Strat win!

  • fender is good

  • too much reverb man cant tell the difference play them just through the amps without effects please

  • @shredmaster100 really? I actually heard a substantial difference, but hey i guess some people have an ear for it :)

  • if you compare them without any effects you will hear a huge difference in tone because the gibsons pickups are so powerfull mind you i tried an eric clapton strat the other day sounded as good as a gibson but it does have active noisless pickups

  • @shredmaster100 REALLY how did the clapton play, feel, etc. im curious to know

  • the neck was surprisingly fast playing and pretty good for sweep picking and the sound with the boost activated is very similar to a gibson and basically you can a strat sound when its off but when you turn it to 10 it sounds like a gibson due to the active pickups the weird thing is the tone knob is the boost so its confusing and have you seen the electronics inside it it has a massive circuitboard so thats why it sounds so amazing m8

  • @shredmaster100 i havent seen one in person. my music shop isnt THAT good lol

  • problem ive got is that my music shop is good but basically its the only music shop in my area only 1 guitar shop and the nearest other one is luton so its not good

  • @shredmaster100 i have 2 rays supply and north country. rays doesnt have much of fender (but the best gibsons) and north country only has stagg jackson and ibanez

  • stagg suck man and i didnt mention the guitar shop in luton is very good its called coda music and u can get any guitar there its such a good guitar shop that slash appeared there to promote his new signature series les pauls if you get an old copy of total guitar magazine its in there and prices are very reasonable just a bit far away from where i live

  • @shredmaster100 i would never buy a stagg lol. but where is luton anyway, cause i live in new york

  • trust me you dont want to know where luton is but if u must its a little town about 40 miles from london and is next to another place called dunstable unfortunatly its overrun with pakistanis and indians only good thing about luton is the guitar shop and i dont know what slash would have thought of the place when he went there but i thought it was a dump it was like visiting india thats how bad it was man ive got nothing against them but there r too many there m8 look it up on google

  • @shredmaster100 well it dont matter im in the usa lol.

  • youre lucky m8 in the uk its very sad because the people just do what they r told they go to work grow old and die where as i dont want to do a normal job i want to be a great rock guitarist in a big band why should the government have the power to choose peoples lives i think its a human right that i can live what life i choose and thats why the usa is such a great country if u have a dream people there will support you where as in the uk they will put you down but il keep trying m8

  • @shredmaster100 my dream is to be in a big blues rock psychedelic band. and tto play guitar next to joe bonamassa and david gilmour

  • my dream would be to play with jimmy page or eric clapton onstage would have also mentioned srv but hes dead so that is an impossible dream but my advice is keep trying m8 because it will work out in the end as long as you practice everyday and i will do my best in the uk but the people are miserable wankers here they think anyone with ambition should be locked up in a mental asylum they are the ones who are mad for not living their lives anyway hope it works out for u m8

  • @shredmaster100 srv was the reason why i began playin lol. i hope u get somewhere with it. get known get famous man!

  • yeah srv was probably the best blues/rock guitarist ive ever seen and thanks for your support m8 its hard to get anywhere in the uk at the moment but il give it my best shot

  • I like the clear defined tones of the Fender. Making a strat sound dirty is easier than making a Gibson sound clean.

  • Vintage FTW!!

  • I have both a strat and a les paul, and i like my les paul way more

  • A link for the TaB you're using ? LP sounds great on this theme. Thanks for the show.

  • It's not the guitar, it's how you play it.

  • i'll b n cheaper ^_^

  • i thought the strat but thats my opinion. the les paul did sound amazing though!

  • actually it depend on your ears, my ears like fender more :)

  • the sound of les paul is so beautiful.

  • which pickup position were you using for the Fender?

  • The delay gave me a headache. Slash used almost no delay at all, and it sounded fine. This was awful for that reason only...

  • @NEWGUY562 : Les Paul. Definitely.

  • what amp do you use or is the delay a fake effect that u added with computer editing???

  • @DeeDeeSmart

    I'm using ZOOM G2.1u

  • @alexrosiu Hey, could u share the patch? I have the same processor.

  • Both are great guitars but are totally different one form the other, it's impossible to compare it, because the sound is different, the wood is different and all is different, you would like more one or the other but you can't compare their sound.

  • Is that strat mim or USA made

  • @alexrosiu there is much distortion in LP and fender sounds more clear i think Fender is eaiser to play...

  • Les Paul sounds better

  • the tone you have sucks xD,

but you will find a good one some day so keep it up!

  • @renesebasgg lol wait to ruin the the battle lol

  • Where did u get your les paul

  • @getmyutubeful A store probably -_-

  • Where did u get your epiphone? I love that color!!!

  • Good playing, but the rhythm track is too loud. The point was hear the guitars right?...

  • GIBSON FTW

  • @SnowDrifter10

Yeah I wish it was a Gibson :)

  • @SnowDrifter10 it is epiphone

  • Strat!!

  • Tabs please.

  • you as a player make them sound good dude! the amp does not hurt either, but it is really you. my preference is the lp, but that is because i like the lp better. i own one...

  • did you take the pickguard off the les paul ??

  • Excellent guitars.

  • Both great guitars... Player gets a little off beat at times though. A little more practice mite be necessary. Some will never master the on beat part of music. Its something your either born with or will never fully have. Great playing other wise.

  • @chonyc77

    Still learning, mate :)

  • @alexrosiu Keep rocking brother. Your going to be great if your just starting.

  • @chonyc77 That's the stupidest comment I ever heard. For all you know he's been playing the guitar for only 3 months.

  • @bobbob12g I don't know how long hes been playing and honestly, i couldn't give a rats ass. He just sounded pretty good to me, and I am giving him a compliment. That's all..

  • @chonyc77 Don't quite understand how that was supposed to be interpreted as a compliment, but OK.

  • @chonyc77 What a corny cliche.

  • Comment removed

  • @chonyc77 I don't think thats true, sure some pick it up faster than others but some great guitarists were born tone deaf and had no sense of rhythm, its all about the amount of commitment. You did great Alex keep it up!

  • Try playing Les Paul in middle, not rhythm.. And hear the difference ;)

  • The Fender guitar is better than the Epiphone, but Epiphone is much better than Squier.

  • @erikentenfresse i have to say in my opinion the squiers are much beter for the money since what you get with $150 in the epiphone market is a poorly assembled, low quality guitar! but for the same price you can get a guitar what sounds beter than a £500 ibanez and i know this from experience!

  • @mrmegaguitarplayer finally got my fender a week ago after playing a squire for 4 years. those years scarred me!

  • @avfcoasis i see nothing rong with squiers!

  • strat. Only the strat

  • TOCANDO SOS HORRIBLE

  • i dont speak english

  • i like + les paul i am brazil

  • That was supposed to be an exclamation mark (!) - stupid iPad.

  • Two great guitars for different moods and purposes. They both sounded great?

  • umm. epiphone is not a real les paul. i have both and it really just depends on what you like at that moment. sometimes the strat, then sometimes the LP. But unless youve changed the pickups its not really a good comparison. just sayin.

  • Strat!!!

  • long live the LP lol

  • long live the strat
