hmm thought i had posted here but seems not.. I live in South Yorkshire...my wife is from the deep south ( Wiltshire ), was moved by the military side of the vid, sad to see the Scots burying their own under the flag of St Andrew.

All the more PROUD to be Scottish after watching this..and the powerful vocals of Lena Martell truly inspire you!!..I toured around the West Highlands recently and will never forget the beutie of MY COUNTRY!!..also nice to see OUR brave young Scottish Soldiers being honoured and respected!!....Such a wonderful video...It must touch the hearts of Ex Pats around the world!!...Thanks for uploading!!
@kilda93 - Sorry but I have to disagree with you on that one and I agree more with what 'ownlearning' and 'microkmeb' say. I hope the UK will always remain together as I think it would be very sad if it was to break up. Britain as a nation has a wonderful history that goes back hundreds of years and there are many countries who would love to have the history that 'she' has. I am quite proud to be British and wish more British people were, instead of running our nation down all the time.
there may be alot of troubles within the union, im from england, and although england has things like the lake district which are amazing, the whole of scotland seems to be beautiful. and i hope we always remain a union, as we are like brothers, more than brothers, we help each other and keep each other strong, you may be scotish, i may be english, you could be welosh or northern irish too, but the fact is we are all family, under one queen, and the union jack. we are 4 countries, united as 1.
I'm Scottish & I totally agree with you :-) Scotland, England, Wales & Northern Ireland are great countries with their own culture, traditions & identity. The fact that we are united together as one United Kingdom is really something to be proud of.
i can see all that totally, but i dont think we can fulfill our potential as long as we remain in the union, the english have helped us agreat deal over the past 300 years establishing many of our institutions and even beuilding thje beautiful new town! thanks england, but i cannot agree with the union
