This 30% is nothing compared to the amount that happens in other countries such as India, where still women are often treated as slaves and sold as property. YOU CALL THIS EQUAL? The people in North America who allow this to happen to our woman and girls are basically saying its ok to continue treating females as second class citizens around the world.
We need to teach girls that together they can stand up to people like you, and that together we can make a difference to not only to North Americans but to people all over the world. Your ignorance is what is allowing this to happen, people refuse to believe that there is a problem, you ignore what is going on around you and allow women to be taken advantage of.
If you think that girls and boys are equal you are nuts. Yes, maybe by law in North America we have the same legal rights but that is not what this is about. It is about the violence that against women and girls, being "equal" does not mean that woman and girls deserve to be abused by someone just because they are bigger and stronger. 30% of females in North America WILL get abused at some point, and this is only the cases that will get reported.
@skibee50 We DO want equal rights, NOT just political, and NOT just in our own country, if we can teach our girls they deserve better our girls can go on to show the world. Next time you think about women not being grateful for "equal right" take a look around the news and world around you its not equal yet and when it is then I will be happy.
@onezoodlein seventh grade, i told a girl a your mom joke. she stabbed me in the face with a pencil. i just walked away. i got three stitches and three days of lunch detention for "harassment". she got three days for in-house suspension.(that means she goes to school but stays in the office the whole day). what is fair about that? if i had stabbed her, i would have been suspended.
@onezoodlepoint being, most places in the US, women are very protected. i think women are just more likely to report when they've been hit that a man is. many young girls think that it is okay to hit a man. we have a very violent culture that accepts this. i think things in the US are very equal.
these feminist are psychopaths, i think. they are killing men and ruining lives and it doesn't seem to bother them one tiny bit
