For those that want to use this for XBL is just ridiculous... just use your modem! there is no need to over-complicate something that already works, if your planning of getting a router to hide a massive amount of private computers from isp using NAT they will defiantly know the massive amounts of traffic coming out of your ip address..... :o all-in-all if you need more room consider buying a switch
@j1gaboo123 This video is aimed at those studying for the Cisco CCNA exam. If you want to mess with your NAT for XBL, this isn't the way to go about it. I would think very few people are using Cisco routers as ADSL routers at home. Well I'm sure there's loads but the majority aren't.
I am having a hard time with the loopback. No one explains what it does. If its just supposed to be an address to ping or what. I have 2 2600 routers with a linksys wrt54gs on one router and a laptop on the other. I have been able to ping across the serial link from the laptop but that's as far as it goes. Still no internet connectivity.
Great video! I like the additional review items you added too, like VTY access, etc. Thanks! (and thanks for taking the cartoon guy out, he looks like an A+ candidate, not a CCNA 8^)
This guy has a book Subnetting secrets made easy! Don't bother with it. Those stupid ass charts and subnetting secrets chart actually take longer to learn than just freaking doing the question! CBT nuggets (Jeremy Ciara) and Chris Bryant did a supreme job. Glad I didn't pay for this guys stupid so called easy subnetting secrets crap.
Yes Paul, this video is actually good, but your book stinks. My co workers didn't like it either. Too bad for you :(
thanx this video is useful
