@nicolaswennertotally agreed!!!! audi runs DTM, TDi prototype on 24hours american, 24 hours german and 2 more i cant remember right now... but anyway, audi belongs to VW and there isnt a more experienced brand as VW Group on sportscars, they run skoda fabia 1.6 (non turbo) in rally and its obviously not as competitive as evos and imprezas but is a 1.6 that can stay in the fight with 2.5 turbos

Audi stopped competing in WRC after the cancellation of 'Group B'. The end of Group B was the end of rally as far as most are concerned.

Audi has several WRC championships, and it wasn't until Audi pulled out of WRC, that Mitsubishis started racing and doing well.

I would not drive either of the cars but the guy is right in the video; evo=sport s3=sport+a little more luxury and a little more weight.

But to address the comments on all Audi's being front heavy and not track capable you obviously don't know much about motor sports.

I would advise you to watch "Secrets of Speed" videos.

Parts 2 and 3 are Audis road racing;

Unfortunaltely, Audi ist realy unreliable... my Dads A8, my friends A3 and so on, not even 100 000 km on the odometer, but a lot of problemes with electricts

The A3 with now 10000 km had a broken heater and cigarette lighter, minor problems. But less than my cheaper BMW 316 ti with 100 000 km (no problems at all)

Dude, i dont want to brag or talk bad about what ever audi you own. But when you sum it all up and it comes down to the bottom line, Mitsubishis Evos are the future of racing. They own the rally world, which means they own Handeling, drifting, and technologically superior cars. The only thing audi has is the R8. And the Evo FQ 400 can beat it. for about 60K less. There are evo's that are modded that will pull an easy 6s off the line / quarter mile. So if moddifications is your thing, let it rip

The Audi is a sterile piece of shit, the only car to get in this category is a 135i, by far the best option- thats why Jeremy Clarkson hailed it as the best BMW available. If you want a boy racer mobile then definitely go the Evo, its unbelievable to drive ( although not as good as its predecessor)... the Audi is just a luke warm uninspiring Audi ( as they all are bar the RS4 and R8), even the golf GTI is a nicer drive , despite it being fwd.

Evo's cost a load to run though. servicing is far more regular, and costs more each time. I think that the S3 also falls into the cheaper UK tax bracket, while the evo just doesn't. and also, the fuel economy. normal driving won't better 20mpg apparently. evo magazine's long term evo x didn't better 18mpg! Evo 8/9 are better anyway.
