Getting your nose pierced does not hurt. i have had mine pierced 3 times and and pierced 4 other friends.. the only thing u have to do is not be nevous and go quickly but carefully.

I got my nose pierced on may 1. It literally hurt for 2 seconds. When she put the needle throught then it went trought the other end it dident hurt after :) and Im a wossy with pain. So ya it dident hurt at all after or the days later.

I had 17 piercing now 16 RIP nose piercing i had to take it out for my job, i had to take my nose piercing out when i had surgery but and then I got it repierced and I think it hurt more the first time i dont ever remember it hurting the second though my most painful piercing was either the industrial or my first tregus

I pierced my lip myself and it took 30min, yes it to a LONG time for the needle to finally get through. But the next morning it was swollen HUGE and I had take out the piercing and disinfect it with peroxcide. And it closed up cuz it was to hard to get back in. But Im just saying NEVER do it yourself. It HURTS. More than anything.!!

Yeah I got my nose pierced with a gun and with a needle, the needle hurt ... a lot!

The gun didn't hurt at all (in my opinion). It was a little rush and a harsh pinch but that's all.

The needle, well...the lady told me to close my eyes. It hurt. It was like...really badly hurting (until the needle came out and she put the piercing in).

im 16. I got mine done the day before yesterday. I was so excited about it on the way there. And then when we got in there when my friend went first i got scared and almost backed out. But i just sat down and they got everything ready and she was like now hold on to my shirt and i was shaking and this hot dude was like hold my arm and i did and then she was like 1...2 and pushed it threw on 2. And my nose didnt bleed much. And i was like. Huh? it didnt hurt. is this normal? haha.

an easier way to do it is by yourself.

trust me, one day when my mom was at work, i pierced my nose. that's when i was like, 12. haha, i have my bellybutton, nose, lip, and tongue done. you have alot of courage to get it done with a needle. they usually pierce noses with the guns. :] but your very pretty and piercings fit you.

its something about not having enough breathing room and how the skin is punctured that can make it more difficult i think.

personally. the piercings i got from a gun all got infected except my lobes.

My ears healed quickly, in about 5 weeks, and they were pierced with a gun. Not one problem with them.

yeah. the only thing is you can't really properly sterilize a gun. you can sterilize the jewelry but cant sterilize the gun properly. ive had my ears heal fine when i was little....but when i was older i got my cartilage pierced i went horrible and my ear got infected because of the gun.

That's what I was saying though. They opened up a sterilized package, which held a disposable part that they put in the gun, so that the contaminated part was thrown away afterwards.

I got my ears done with a gun 3 months ago, but it was one of the newer guns where they open up brand new, sterilized, disposable parts so that the part that gets any kind of microscopic blood on it is thrown away, avoiding cross-contamination. Oh, and I've not had one problem with my piercings.

just close your eyes and breath slowly. focus on breathing, not the needle. its done and over in under 30 seconds!

to avoid infection wash it with antibacterial soap everyday in the shower. dont touch it unless your hands are clean. clean it with bactine or H2Ocean saline spray 3-4 times a day for the first week or two. keep up with the washing in the shower and clean it before you go to bed weeks 3-4.
