All i can say about it was im a scouser born and bred and over the weekend of the mathew street festival i didnt see one bit of violence if anything Liverpool can be very proud .
@harcourtfc I will agree with you yes, around the city there was no violence,But there was abit of stupidity. I was standing in the middle of the crowd at the main stage with my friends, and suddenly a guy with friend crowding him moved past us covered in blood, due to someone throwing a glass bottle up in the air in the crowd, my friend had a handprint of blood on her jacket due to him moving past her. Coke bottles, lucosade bottle and even a suitcase got thrown around. I was hit by a bottle :(

@tinysstupidstunts25 yeah i understand there might of been a few little problems but as a whole out of over 300.000 people over the 2 day event there little minor problems that would accure in any festival .. i hope u and your friends r ok now
my friend told me about this festival yesterday! He also lives in Liverpool! people just can't control there anger! Idiots that's all I've got to say! But then again if this didn't happen there wouldn't be a festival! Right? =^.^=
@FruittisMaris The festival went fantastic! My mum was the event control manger so that was lucky seeing all the action etc. Those people are idiots! The festival is to remind people this type of violence is not acceptable not only in the Everton area of Liverpool, Liverpool, but right across the country, we united together to take a stand against it! I shall be uploading the videos and pictures of the fantastic day...
