My PC with Core 2 Duo E8500 (overclocked to 3,6 GHz with original voltage) and with GF 9800GTX+ Dark Knight (760 MHz GPU Core, and 1320 MHz Memory) and the Memory is DDR2 800MHz (GEiL) 2*2GB, and on this PC i can run GTA IV all on high (only) and 1920*1080, and all other settings on max, with aboutb 30-40 FPS, so it is not too good... But not bad! ;)

It would work but will run terrible. This game is poorly ported to the pc and runs well sometimes but most of the time there will be lag. Unless ur system is high end and have an i7 processor u could get away with it. You'll be looking at 25-35fps "mostly high" settings.

If you want a cheaper card. then 5750, 5770 and nVidia GTS 450, GTX 460 are good choices too. Or wait for the AMD 67xx series...

@andoi9292 Yeah, but if you put 32bit, you can use only 3GB RAM! You need 64bit to have the 4GB or more RAM working! It's a nice PC, but if you can afford it, better go for a GTX 460 1GB. And better don't buy a Caviar Green hardisk because they aren't good for gaming computers... Better buy a 640 or 750GB Caviar Black with at least 32MB Cache. And if the 750GB isn't much for you, you can buy a second hardisk (Green or whatever) to save your files!

Damn, I am upgrading my PC just for this game.. was thinking about shopping Xbox 360, just to play this. The 4-th GTA is more serious and realistic than previous series, which I like very much, although GTA 3 was a bit of revolution, after 1 & 2 as well.

GTA:SA MP is a really good idea, BUT I don't like it in technological way, graphics is really old, no physics.. for me it's no good, so I do not feel like I am inside of the game.

Up the Nb speed with ratio to core speed at about 70% if your using ddr3 you only need nb to be about double a slightly higher. you'll gain massive speed in 3d games. 1866mhz is a hard limit for ram (architectural) . just so you guys know.

A gts 250 is a cheaper and super overclocked 9800 gtx+ so better with a gts 250. With a cm storm scout case and the case on auto i max temps at 49 degrees.

It maxes everything but crysis and farcry. SLI works well :) hope i helped

You need a Tri-Core or Quad Core CPU to begin with (starting at 2.6 GHz)...so if that AMD Athlon is a Dual Core fuggedaboutit...

GTA IV will use up 2 GB Ram at med-high settings like condoms on a horny night with Kim Kardashian...4 GB of RAM or higher is highly suggested...

This game seems to be CPU and Memory (RAM and VRAM) hungry so the graphics card's GPU does little for this game (a Gfx card with 1024 MB or higher required for "High" textures)

If your current bios fails you can reload the last workin Bios with the Backup Bios.. i dont think that other Boards already have that
