Double like! I have been making urban Permaculture gardens in the city of Launceston Tasmania with a few mates from university. Green gorilla style. Growing food on city streets.
The point of permiculture is permanent agriculture. Whilst what you are doing here is admirable, it is not permaculture. I do wish you guys all the best with your food production! :)
Permaculture is a kind of gardening -- let’s not over-conceptualize it. Selling permaculture as a “new way of life and solution to the world’s problems” makes it sound kind of kooky. In reality, this is how civilization has always produced its food… until very recently.
@FreedomFox1 I think the term you are looking for is polyculture, permaculture is in fact more than gardening and it does not sound kooky no matter what way you look at it.
You ever look into Permaculture forests? This thing not explained in this video is the fact that the original designer of these things was building entire permaculture forests, that once built, never required work from people again. The food worked to regenerate itself and spread in a natural way,. It took the energy and work of farming and made it obsolete once the forest was set up. The more land you have, the more abundance of food you have. Bill Mollison Permaculture . Youtube it.
