I am a single father with my princess's mother still around. I admire you being a single mom all by yourself without family support. It is not easy to date when women that aren't also single parents because they don't understand the love that I share for my daughter will always come first. (my mom raised me alone) and a boy/mother create a special bond, if not more in some ways (yes diff in ways... but boys in that situation become mamas boys to a great degree, and when they realize what their mom has done can def create a very strong bond and almost want to protect their moms in their own way...) congrats, and salut from QC!
I feel there are so many situations where we are "single" parents even if we are married. Such as my husband has been stationed in Germany for a year and some family health issues kept my kids and I back in the states. Then right after Germany he was deployed to Afghan so I have been a "single" parent to my two boys for 2 years now. Having to raise my boys on my own for 2 years has been so difficult. Like you said i think with girls it would be easier. You have to be strong to raise kids alone.
There are too many good looking women without kids out there to date someone with kids. Been there done that. I got tired of dealing with the ex-boyfriend...
As ive had a female best friend for the past 13 years .... Im perfectly capable of Raising a little girl =3 ! I Would prefer to be a single parent MYSELF .. Because i have my family around me to make up anything thats missing ^_^. Im an uncle to two of age 4 (Though they arent twins, Fertile Siblings eh ? ). I hate Relationships and the thought of adopting is nice too ^_^ Though i know its difficult for a single guy to adopt these days .. :S. BUT HEY HO ! I have lots of time to worry about it !
I hope Michelle isn't keeping the child away from the father. I know a guy who's wife left the country with their kid and it's pretty sad. I know nothing about Michelle, so I'm not casting aspersions. Just sayin.

My mom was a single parent. I am not a single parent but single parenting is HARDER then having a partner but so proud of those who are truly pulling off it off. YEAH! For any good parent(s) in general
