  • I have Dr. Beebe as a professor at ASU. I never heard him play till now. Mind blown.

  • Ray Pizzi loves the bassoon, loves music, and wants to see and hear the instrument recognized in the many contemporary musical styles.

He has, through his performing, composing, education, and cheerleading, done more than any one person in history to promote the use of the bassoon outside of its traditional “classical” role. (Dr. Jon Beebe, IDRS Journal, 2010)

  • Hahahahahaha........ Friggin' Fantastic !!! Great piece, Great performance. I'm smiling ear to ear. Wonderful... YEE-HAW !!! 50,000 stars.

  • Ray, GREAT PIECE ! This man can PLAY the bassoon and interprets your piece wonderfully. 50,000* for Pizzi and Beebe.

  • You should be proud, Dr. Jon Beebe is an authority on solo bassoon music. He is the author of Music for Unaccompanied Solo Bassoon: Also a regular contributor to The Double Reed Journal, the official publication of the International Double Reed Society, through his column, "bassoONLY," devoted to music for unaccompanied solo bassoon."Happy Bassooning"
