  • They had a war in San juan

  • I heard rumors that Carlos Colon is going to the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame in Miami.

  • It has now come out that Abdullah the Butcher tested positive for Hep C. I'm sure Carlos Colon has it too with the 100's of matches he has had. I heard from an IWA friend who know Invader #1 when he was in the office that he stoped wreslting the first time because he was Hep C positive. It's been a big cover up in the industry for a long time. Promoters like Colon don't want it coming out because it's so common and would effect blood matches making them money in the future.

  • abby should have killed him and jose

  • "a los dos se los chingo el Mil Mascaras"

  • dale duro con el tenedor

  • I can't seem to find Butchers match with Brisco in 1975.

Who was the butchers 1st match with anyways?

    Speaking of the Butcher....

The new video, Don't Bleed On Me, it's really something to see.

    Seriocity Productions put it out.

  • @ABCAND123z Yeah I saw it myself wow it was wild...

  • 3:43 to 3:47 bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaa!

  • No wonder Carlito & Primo suck. They're almost as bad as their murderer dad. 'Cause he is a murderer, if he knows that Invader guy killed Brody and didn't turned him in, he is a muderer too.

  • PILLO, PILLO, MIRA LO QUE HACE OMBE CHARLATAN, ANIMAL MY ABUELO SE LO VIVIA TODO.

  • congratulations to abdullah the butcher going to the 2011 wwe hall of fame.

  • hahah carlos colon no talent he reminds me of my colon when i take a big shit

  • @YanivthePS3fan 1. I think Gordon fabricated the "ban" to draw more heat for the match. Commentators used to say stuff like that all the time. 2. It might also have been for the benefit of Colon's home crowd who were watching on closed circuit television in Puerto Rico, wondering why their hero was taking such a big match in the States and not in PR. Solie was preserving Colon's rep.. In the territory days, fans were often kept unware that their local heroes worked feuds elsewhere.

  • thanx for puting this up

  • Carlos Colon is a shit human being. He had a part in Bruiser Brody's murder.

  • @Anaxagoran weird, i was just thinking about his murder this morning.

  • @VinceThePinch Have you seen the interview where Tony Atlas retells the story of the murder? It's on Youtube. Of the wrestlers in the locker room that night, he was the closest to what we'd call an eyewitness. BTW, what's your take on "The Manny Fernandez Receipt?" If you like tales of wrestling murders, read Jim Wilson's "Chokehold." He tells a humdinger on the Maivias (i.e. The Rock's family) in Hawaii. Also, Lou Thesz' autobiography contains a good one about his time in Singapore.

  • @Anaxagoran i thought it was invader # 1 that killed Brody

  • @rafa10454 I said he had a part in it. I didn't say he actually killed him.

  • @Anaxagoran I agree with you. He could have turned Brody's killer in but wouldn't do it for business reasons or something stupid. He should be very ashamed of himself. And the part the sickens me is he still considers himself a friend of Brody's.

  • @Anaxagoran U can't possibly know that.

  • @UNCARING1 I've done the research genius...

  • @Anaxagoran Is this just speculation, or is there something to back this up?

  • @aaronfowlowmusic No its not just speculation. Do a little research about it. His role was covered up.

  • @Anaxagoran what on earth made you say that ?

  • @TheMarkc Look it up and you might find out. Do a little work on your end.

  • @Anaxagoran DIDNT HAVE A PART IN THE MURDER FOR YOUR INFO ,TAKE NOTE !!!On July 16, 1988, Brusier Brody was scheduled to wrestle later that night when he was stabbed in the dressing room of a coliseum in San Juan Puerto Rico. "Tell my son I love him...and my wife I love her, too", were his final words to Carlos Colon, according to "PWI magazine".

  • @TheMarkc That doesn't mean he didn't have a part in it. Bruiser probably didn't know Colon was in on it.

  • @Anaxagoran ffs you should think before you open your mouth colon NEVER faced any charges so how the hell do you make sense there was 50 wrestlers there that night

  • @TheMarkc Because they fucking covered it up. I think you should think before you open your mouth fuckhead. I've read and watched many more things about it that you, jackass. You don't know as much as you think you do.

  • @Anaxagoran ladieeees and gentlemen! this guy has seen it all!

  • @Anaxagoran carlos DIDNT HAVE A PART IN THE MURDER FOR YOUR INFO ,TAKE NOTE !!!On July 16, 1988,

  • @Anaxagoran and you are a dumb piece of shit thinking you know everything just cuz you read some articles... fuck you and get on with your miserable life jackass

  • every match these 2 had were sick blood matches..wwc was really hardcore for its time..

  • wwc was really hardcore for its time...these 2 has blood bath matches...

  • Hey it's Carlito and Primo's dad!

Wow Abdullah is now 74 and Colon is 62.

Bet they could still put on a decent rematch today!

Now that Hugo is here, we know somebody's going through a table tonight!

  • Subsribed

  • HET CARLITO YOUR DAD WAS COOL YOU SIR ARE NOT

  • those two always gave a good fight...... clasic! these is wwe primo colon and carlito caribean cool father!

  • a lot memories i grow up in puertorico and abdullah it`s like a king of wrestling bestever better than hogan, flair, funk brothers dusty rhodes he was a real wrestler

  • i hope wwe decides one day to bring out all old nwa wcw ppv on dvd or bluray - because old scholl rules

  • how ironic... that as brutal as he was in the ring.. he was in real life.. one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

  • Wow! This was so typical of main even matches. The ref gets knocked out, the good guy goes down for the pin then someone interferes & injures the good guy. Just when the bad guy goes for the pin, the ref gains consciousness & starts the count & the bad guy wins. I just love it.

  • hugo savinovich? isnt he that spanish announcer for wwe?

  • @TheBarney97 Yes, that's him. He was the longtime manager of Abdullah while he wrestled in Puerto Rico. Hugo is a REAL legend.

  • Abdullah the Butcher, true legend. It's hard to believe the man is almost 70 years old and still will get into the ring from time to time, and still uses the same brutal hardcore style.

  • omg its HUGO!!!!!! one of the legendary announcers that lost his table at every wwf event in the late 90s lol

  • haha banned in puerto rico? please, i lived in puerto rico and used to watch abdullah and carlos bloody the hell out of each other every night. trust me, nothing was ever banned haha. but good call by solie to hype up the match, cause most people watching wouldnt know

  • why dont we talk about the fight bunch of stupies

  • ROBBERY!!!

  • carlos colon the father of carlito and primo

  • Gordon Solie is the greatest ring announcer of all time. Jim Ross don't have nothing on him.

  • gordon solie doesn't get enough credit 4 his genius, he immediately promotes the match & captivates our minds with the statement "this match was banned n puerto rico" --- this is what is missing from pro wrestling 2day ... intelligence ... gordon solie was a great story teller n his own right, he really gave the sport a sense of realism by stating each wrestler's background n athletics etc., i love the way he & coach john heath called matches n florida, heath knew the human anatomy & the science

  • i agree with you completely, they were quite possibly the best commentating team i've ever heard in my short life so far.

  • How many times did Abdullah slash at his forehead?

The guy was a great performer.

    Fearless.

  • 5 or six there is a video of a guy putting a penny in it man was it gross!

  • That was José González.

  • No, it was your mother actually.

  • This is one of my favorite all time rivalrys!!!!

  • This rivalry didn't have the same luster in the states as it did in the islands... we in the mid-atlantic area weren't too familiar with Calos Colone

  • Didnt Carlos Colone is real like murder someone?Gene something? I saw it in a interview

  • This was the same night of ric flair title win over race in a cage and brisoces loss tag tiles to youngblood and steamboat what a card this match is underated

  • "Abdullah The Butcher"........best name for a wrestler ever IMO.

  • I saw a recent interview with Abdullah and he is a really good hearted family man. I must say he looked like an ogre in this match

  • I wish STARRCADE '83 had all matches

from the OMNI in Atlanta,GA that same

    night.I remember GORDON SOLIE playin

    the STARRCADE matches and OMNI

    matches that ThanksGiving weekend on

    WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING.

  • Before JCP merged the two, Georgia always had the Thanksgiving Tag Team Tournament. The big thing that night was the tag team of Magnum T.A. and Randy Savage. That upset Mr. Wrestling II, who feared that Magnum would turn heel. Strange that II did a heel turn on Magnum. Abdullah and Colon were from another territory at the time (Puerto Rico). I think that this was Colon's only appearance on a Crockett card.

  • @mkl62 that was not Carlos Colon's only appearance in the Mid-Atlantic area, he had a series of matches with Tully Blanchard for both the Tully's World TV title and Carlos' Universal Title

  • great video quality. did you get this from a vhs?

  • I remembered looking at the wrestling mags and these wrestlers were bloodied like crazy never seen anything like that freaked me out when I was young in the pX cause I grew up watching WWF and WCW and never saw that kind of damage always when I turned the pages there was Abdullah the butcher never seen nothing like that

  • Abdullah is fat.

  • Abdullah elbow drops a referee and he's only out for a few seconds? He should've been out for thirty minutes!

  • Abby blades himself with every swipe of his hand across his head when Carlos gets the object and starts hitting him.

  • I wish I could see all of Starrcade 83, it is difficult to find anything on the early Starrcades

  • It's a shame they didn't put this match on the Starrcade DVD, at least they have three other matches on there. This match is really violent, no question.

  • I like Abdullah The Butcher he is one of my favourite wrestlers and I got to meet him before he retired.

  • he retired?

  • Yes his last match was against Balls Mahoney but we'll se how long this will last.....

  • For the most part yes. He owns a restaurant in Atlanta. "Abdullah the Butcher's House of Ribs and Chinese Food".

  • @VinceThePinch yep he owns a restrant now and its to do with his wrestling past quite a nice place tbh friendly guy

  • @welcomewrestlingfans i met him too at his restaurant in atlanta 2 years ago and he was nice guy you ever meet

  • @welcomewrestlingfans Yeah very soft spoken quiet guy.. Nothing like his character..

  • Bob Caudle has had the nerve to state in interviews that he felt Gordon Solie added nothing to the Starrcade broadcast and that he couldn't understand why Solie was brought in to work with him. Well, Bobby, take a long and OBJECTIVE listen to your work compared to the work of Solie and others. If this doesn't help you understand, nothing will. Talent is noticed and rewarded; thus why Solie got the invite. You say Solie added nothing to the broadcast? Caudle, what did you add?

  • Gordon Solie was one of the things that made my 70's Georgia/World Championship Wrestling days great. I still have old wrestling programs from the events with him on it. Caudle? I only saw glimpses of him. There's the comparison. Solie's name in wrestling is synonymous LONG before Caudle's.

  • I agree! In my opinion, unlike other wrestling commentators, Solie was (very) articulate and, like some of the wrestlers, charismatic! Thank God I, STILL, have two of the, currently, out-of-print, NWA/WCW wrestling videos-Pro-Wrestling Illustrated's Lords of The Ring and Ring Masters: the Great American Bash. Solie commentates Lords... and Tony Schiavone commentates Ring Masters.

  • To add, years ago long before wrestling became so marketable in other products, Gordon Solie wrote a book called, "Lords of the Ring". And as you know, many other wrestlers and managers wrote books ever since Mick Foley wrote his first book because of the marketability Did Caudle ever write a book with all of his years of commentary ? Again, Bob Caudle could NEVER measure up to Gordon Solie.

  • Moreover, I'd be surprised if Bob Caudle, unlike Gordon Solie, even gets a WWE Hall of Fame award.

  • Does anyone have the clip where Abby bloodies the holy hell out of Wahoo with a spike? I think this was in 1981 on Mid-Atlantic TV

  • I also went to point out that on the SAME CARD : The sixth match was unbeleivable Dog Collar fight between Roddy Piper and Greg Valentine. You certainly all remember that Valentine seriously injured Piper's left ear during the match.Despite the seriousness of the enjury, Piper pinned Valentine with the chain wrapped around his legs.

  • Gentlemen ! " Starrcade '83: Flare for the Gold " Maybe considered as the Greatest Card ever held in Wrestling !The main event was the famous steel cage match between Ric Flair and Harley Race for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship FOLLOWING THE FANTASTIC 25,000.00$ bounty enterview cut by Race in witch he stated "" I want rid of Flair "" The Abdullah Vs Colon bout was indeed the third match of the card and is a Superbe fight ! Abdullah pined Colon and took it home !

  • carlos fucked him up in this bout

  • Awesome. Classic match. Hail Abdullah The Butcher.

  • Was this before or after Carlos Colon and Ric Flair faced off for the first time?

  • My mistake

  • Was this the opening bout of Starrcade 83?

  • thanks a lot for this match i always wanted to see this one in particular

  • cool! I have another one from WWC I'll upload soon

  • awesome have you seen havoc's wwc channel? he has a ton of awesome stuff there
