  • that pretty cool looks like it would be hard to make in work constiantly

  • whats the counterweight for the launch part?

  • @MCruzerProductions knex wheels

  • Now that I look at it more you can make it go down aliitle before the launch part and hav the motor spin it so that it keeps going

  • fucking brilliant

  • nice

  • I saw a life-size trebuchet launching washing machines at the Corvallis da Vinci Days festival (which still happens every summer, though the trebuchet is, alas, no longer functional). I always did think it would make a swell carnival ride, and here it is as a ride element.

Yes, I understand that you used it as a kludge for the drive mechanism of your model, but I think it could also work on a full size machine.

  • Wow. This is amazing.

  • Wow. never seen that technique used before, awesome 5*

  • great idea! how many sets did it take?

  • @AceofSpades462

i own 4 screamin serpents and thousands of other pieces collected over the years

  • Better than a drill launch, rubber band, rocket, and the classic chain lift.

  • thanks

  • i liked it

  • i also made a trebuchet launch but it didnt work so i tore it down and used as a normal trebuchet

  • very clever launch

  • nice launch

  • Wow! Awesome Type of a Launch! 5/5!

  • haha thats rly cool dude! nice and creative new type of a lift/launch. 5!

the name suites it perfectly :)

  • copy song and words

  • what?

  • cool

  • This looks really nice, the mechanism for the lift was really great for the coaster. The speed is excellent, and the track is nice and smooth. Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks man!

  • great job!

i might have a way to make it automtic though. keep the trebuchet exactly as it is (free swinging) and add an "arm" attached to a motor. the arm spins around and picks up the trebuchet (like a combo lock) and when it hits a certain angle, the weight will go downward (because its free swinging) and launches the coaster! thinkabout it . . .

  • believe me, i've tried every way to use motor(s) to keep the coaster automatic. nothing can lift the weights. not even while using both of my strong, wall outlet motors at the same time WITH gear ratios. in the end, this method was the only 100% reliable method to use :D

  • i know this is double post but man, you allready got 8 views. on my first video(my only video) got like 5 views in two weeks

  • haha i'm pretty suprized too.

  • man you have a great future ahead of you lol
