Very cool, your vocals are fine for someone who is not a trained vocalist. I met a dude he was the keyboardist in my cousins band in 1993. He wanted to sing and would make his own recordings. He sounded REALLY HORRIBLE, I never thought it would be possible for him to even get ok at it!!! He practiced all the time though. I preformed as a lyricist in 1996 at a local venue and so did he when they said his name I was bracing myself to keep my lunch. HE WAS AWESOME! So you'll be dabomb if ya want!
Aw thanks Loved One. Everyone give it up for Tribe Mother Ray Ray. See, now this is how we supposed to get along with our Baby Mommas, I mean Tribe Mothers <- Made that mistake on purpose so you'd know what Tribe Mother mean. I refuse to call her My Baby Momma. Thats so degrading. so I invented the term Tribe Mother] The Wallace family is forever indebted to her for blessing us with 2 fine young Men folk.
Yeah, I be watchin' vocal tutorials here on the You Tizube, trynna get on Danny's level.
wow, I'm still learning cool black history facts myself. I think there are other brothers more qualified than myself to undertake that task. But I'll give it my best.
Very cool video! Its about time the banjo was given a proper history..wasnt it invented on the island of Martinique?Speaking of historical instruments did you know that the first sighting of the full sized viol di gamba or acoustic bass was in 1493..really strange it makes me wonder if they used to hide people in it before it became chic to transport them chained together..just a thought.
Thank ya, thank ya. True, thats EXACTLY why I playing with the Banjo. Even though African Moors invented the guitar and brought it to Spain. I feel more affinity with the Banjo since this is the instrument from the bloodline of my people. I dont think we've BEGUN to tax the instrument for what it's worth. It can do so much.
Viol Di Gamba huh? I need to research that. This is the first I've heard of it.
LOL!! Capt'n Jack? More like Capt'n Broham or Capt'n Black. Thanks, glad you enjoyed. I feel if I'm not educating in some way, I'm helping to perpetuate the ignorance of our people and it's time to come out of our slumber. There is so much that we do everyday that our ancestors have contributed to. If but only knew, perhaps we'd feel a responsibility to add to the legacy rather than shame it with our current behavior.
Thanks so much for your encouraging words beloved.
Thanks so much beloved, I appreciate the love. Yeah, I feel "if you're not part of the solution then you are part of the problem" and OUR problem as a people is lack of knowledge and ignorace. I love doing things that will shock people into to learning. Wisdom and knowledge is everything to me. I love sharing what I know and have with others.
I seem so young? LOL. Well I'm 37, folks tell me I look 27. lol. Just like you I'm aware of my mission, hence the focus.
WOW EVERY TIME I TURN AROUND YOU DO SOMETHING TO AMAZE ME AND PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE WHILE YOUR DOING IT.
KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING, I PRAY THAT OTHERS WILL FOLLOW. MUCH LOVE TO YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY TO EDUCATE THE MINDS OF OTHERS.
I REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO EVEN LEARNED SOMETHING THAT I CAN PASS ON TO MY SON.
