  • Just saw the movie.

Heard "I'm Still Here" a lot of times. I love that song but this score of JNH is just pure magic. It makes me all nostalgic about my childhood and dream about the future.

This track is really beautiful with all these soft flute sounds and horns.

I'm not worried about Howard's score for "The Hunger Games" anymore. Haven't been really much before but "Treasure Planet's" score just helped me confirm my opinion.

  • 3:35 fav part

  • They knew Silver was a great character. They couldn't just kill him off like any other Disney villain. He wasn't an archetype he was real.

  • @eishikibahamut But he died in the original book, right? The dingie-thingie he left in sank because of all the treasure he brought with him.

  • Silver: Jimbo!

  • this is beautiful, what a animation.

  • It should have ended at 4:25...

  • I feel like this movie isn't being given what it's worth. It may be only to me.. but I feel like the meaning behind this story is seriously deep and powerful. I mean, a lot of kids can relate to Jim. Some don't have a family that's together, and they're going through hard times with money, and just wanna be free. And this song made me remember how to never give up, because we all have the makings of greatness. They should play this more often..

  • I feel like crying every time I listen to this :,)

  • Keep out of trouble, you old scalliwag.

Aye jim when have i ever done otherwise?

  • "...You have the makings of greatness in you..." best words ever spoken in a Disney movie

  • those kind of songs that give you chills (:

  • 0:10 - 0:25 & 4:25 to end are my favorite parts.

  • This is simply beautiful. The best farewell theme of all time.

  • two people left morph in a cage

  • This movie is so under-rated. It has more soul than most of the Disney ANYTHING today. They don't make them like this anymore.. and this is coming from a fourteen year old.

  • reminds me of lord of the rings a little bit: 1:02

  • @LoneSola Yeah, the part with the flutes reminds me of it too. It sounds like the "Shire theme" to me.

  • i watched this film today after don'T seing this film a long time but he is even beter then i watched it the last time

  • i wish i could just forget the movie and keep re watching it again and again..

  • I don't know why this movie doesn't get as much attention as the other animated films. I don't think it's necesarily darker than the rest of them. Maybe because it isn't a broadway style musical? Although Lilo and Stitch wasn't one either and that got a lot of attention. I mean, when the made Tarzan they got less popular. They were still good but just weren't popular anymore. What happened?

  • I always have to cry at this scene

  • ... This movie deserves much more attention..

  • 3:15 - 5:02 the best part :)

  • One of the best animated films of all time, in my opinion. ^^

  • @LuLuCappuccino In fact, right after I heard this song I went and watched the whole movie. It was already 2:00 in the morning. xD

  • This is just beautiful music! One of my fav DIsney films and best score ever!

  • James Newton Howard, John Williams and Hans Zimmer are my three favorite movie soundtrack composers!

  • thats the best film ever

the best is the music ♥

  • Thanks tons for posting the soundtrack!

    It's really hard to find...anywhere.

"Silver Leaves" is my favorite track by far.

You've really made my day :D

  • Mine as well. You´re very welcome!! :)

  • Yes thank you :)
