  • I like Slade but Noddy's flat on every chorus - he does it on other videos of this song too. Strange.

  • @flamencobob Thats because he's singing it in D7... its not wrong... its his interpretation. At least that's how I hear it.

  • Pure gold how we miss them!

  • Don played such simple drum patterns - but they groove like hell. They got the power :-))

  • I too Auzmancometh pure poetry!

  • I have loved Slade for over 30 years. I first found them in a used record bin after reading an interview with Gene Simmons, who listed Slade as one of their biggest influences musically, plus they always showed up to their gigs and made the crowds have a great time. Noddy's voice is the greatest rock vocal ever. And Slade were just plain FUN, they rocked out and made great music. Their headlining of the Reading Festival in 1980 after Ozzy bowed out, recommending them to fill his slot was EPIC!!!

  • One of the greatest lead breaks of all time!

  • awesome! anyone who can make dawdle and toddle sound like that is brilliant

  • Great video quality and sound. Thanks for posting it. Slade is one of my favorite bands since I was little . This video is a fantastic jewel !! I grew up in Mexico listening to this music.

  • this song features the words dawdle and toddle.

  • Jim Lea looks like a cross between Freddie Mercury and Alex Lifeson from Rush.

  • Tant de souvenirs... Thank you from Germany for this amazing videos!

  • Super Slade-Videos. Greetings from Mexico.
