    oh yes! Kapustin has adapted to his harmonic syllabary the many rhapsodic elements and chord substitutions akin to Evans' own style--even the minimalist approach to improvisation is also prevalent here and in most of Kapustin's slow works; the up-tempo works cultivate a more "tatumesque" approach
