Did I hear you say you had crabs near the end of that vid? Regardless, I think we'll be okay with the Anderson signing... the only reason we chose him was due to his prior familiarity with the offense. He's not going to end up being the long term starter (I hope)... keep your head up!
I don't like Anderson at all, that being said he wasn't brought in to start. the only way he will be seeing the field is if Cam gets hurt and Jimmy is falling on his face. The only thing that keeps me from being pissed is the fact that Anderson may be able to help the others learn from his mistakes. Those who can't do, teach! maybe its just wishful thinking
I'm sure 3-13 would sound about right for your Panthers. The 3 wins of course if you played all them would be Rams,Seahawks and 49ers..I mean 3 wins that's headed up! But I don't think your Panthers play all 3 of those teams soooooooo! Good luck
I SMH at that signing....Anderson hasnt done much since his one year wonder run with the Browns a few years back. I also heard u guys were looking at Carlos "stone hands" Rogers as well.
Well if Anderson is the starter week 1...Cardinal fans will enjoy watching our 1st crow vids of the season..damn who am I kidding...Doesn't matter who the Panthers start at QB..Us Cards fans will be enjoying your 1st of many Crows in 2011...
@rtl70 We've beaten you with a HOFer in Warner. You think Kolb scares us? Good luck when our new blitz scheme puts Kolb in the hospital. Don't laugh at the Anderson pick-up, he's our 3rd string who has a fresh memory of your teams playbook.
Greg Olsen was a steal for you at the cost of a 3rd round pick. He had horrible YAC a year ago put improved dramatically last season. He started putting up some close to Ditka numbers but not enough for a ProBowl.
Him and Shockey on your team are 2 lethal TE's. Martz got rid of him because he wanted a bigger blocking TE. Martz doesn't like passing the balls to TEs.
@JimRage Any chance of you fulfilling the wife's life-long dream of watching the Bears play the Panthers at Soldier Field this year? If so, I'm sure I could meet you there.
" its not funny...i dont wana go out there and get embarrassed "....lol...ok, so yah IT IS FUNNY....hahahahaha....feel the anderson...get intouch with your inner Derek....we sure as fuck did last preseason and look what it got us...lol....i will say this for your qb situation.....when travelling down the PIKE, searching for a conf. title, dont get to filled up on NEWTONS, when all you need is a small bit of oil from the DEREK....buwahahaha..sorry man, i feel for ya bro.
i thought for a second you were about to say " disregard this team "....hehehe....not optimistic??? not willing to bet a bahaman vacation on this great team? damn JR.....you dissapoint....haha
I think the addition of Olsen and Shockey is going to open up our offense and definitely help our young quarterbacks. When it comes to bringing in a vet to come in and mentor our young guys yea there were better options than Anderson but since he has experience in Chudz offense I dont think it's that bad of a pickup. From what I read and heard from Chudz interview Anderson's main role on the team is to be that guy that kinda show them the ropes in the offense i doubt he'll start day 1.
olsen pickup is awesome JR. just a heads up ;). we got anderson because he knows chuds system. its not good...but not that bad. he went to pro bowl when he was in this system. so he can teach it. newton is lookin good JR. like him or not, i think he will excel here. nice to see ya again though man. go panthers! keep your head up.
@nflpanthersO7 I guess i have no choice but to give him a chance. A very small one. But if i hear that he's whined just once when he gets some criticism, I'll have to drive up to Wofford and put my foot in his throat (figuratively speaking). I have no further comment on Newton, at this time.

@rtl70 hmm...The NFC west is pretty generous with handing out wins to teams that need them. We'll be sure to collect our share.

Anderson at least has passion...
BigGravyTheClown 6 months ago
@BigGravyTheClown He better dig up some skills to go with that passion, if he wants to keep his job. I'm just saying.

derek anderson's one good season he had 19 interceptions! do we rly want cam to learn from him even tho he knows most of the offense?

That one good season Anderson went 10-6 with Chud and the browns, he knows the system really well. Olsen will be great with Shockey.
