If it was 1988, these would be awesome aircraft, but in 2009, it means nothing. You see nothing on radar, and poof, die. And unlike the old Sidewinder with a 30mile range, AMRAAM -C/D can turn at 18g/mach 4.5. NO aircraft or pilot can survive what is needed to avoid them. It is the "I WIN" button. 60+ miles away and not on radar, and I WIN.

Your Fighters are beautiful but your technology is now far behind. Fighters aren't as relavent as they used to be. You're not going to be successful against an unmanned aircraft that isn't subject to a 6-9 g tolerance. Because stealth is going to keep you from being noticed in combat. I don't know exactly how that F-117 was shot down, but thats been the only one downed by fire. Stealth aircraft kicked Iraq's ass both times. I'm sure Russia has stealth technology available and the know-how to deal with it, but again their military isn't going to be spending that kind of money anytime soon. Really all you need to find a stealth aircraft is a REALLY high powered Radar array.
