  • Love you Jerry and thanks for your music, it's a miracle, just a miracle that guy like you exist!

    thanks god!

  • Is this song in a film or on TV or something? I swear I've heard it somewhere other than the album... ?!?!

  • dont complaint hat the world is shitty. just be urself and youll see that theres others like you.

  • @puszat19 The comment is more oriented toward the state in music, and not so about the life itself.

  • It feels like Jerry is singing my soul. What an amazing artist!

  • Just the composition of this song reveals the genius of Cantrell. He is an underrated genius which is good imo, it gives him a stronger a distinguished presence.

  • Jerry in Chains

  • jerry cantrell is a nice dude

  • I think this album is pretty fantastic. I always float in and out of listening to it but I'm glad to know it's always there.

  • This song is my heart formed into words...

  • so awesome

  • long live Jerry Cantrell and his brilliant talents!!

  • I've always loved this song. The lyrics get me every time <3

Thanks for this one JC, took me through some rough times.

  • There are so many allusions to Layne, post-death. It has brought out the best in Jerry Cantrell. While Layne was a great vocalist, he brought out the best in JC. Even Jerry says that Layne really brought out his vocal side. I saw them as an opening act for Aerosmith in the early 90s. They were excellent! I really like JCs vocals on Black Gives Way to Blue...much like his solo stuff. Excellent vocals! While I can't say that JC's guitar solos are "shredding", they are emotive, and I like that.

  • @metalsushidog I agree, but I'm a teenage girl... and here I am.

  • I agree, He must be the most underated artist there is. The man was alice in chains and kicked ass there, his solos are so deep. Now he's back with aic, R.I.P. Layne Staley, and Mike Starr

  • This has to be the most underrated album of all time. I remember hearing a preview of it in a cd store (what are those? lol) before it came out and it gave me chills then..

  • i cant believe this only has 119 views, this is by far my favorite jerry c song

  • @levokanevo But Lady Gaga has like a boatloads of views.....that tells you something right there in what shity world we live in.

  • One of my favorite Cantrell tunes.... just AWESOME!
