  • I love gazpacho too and drink it by the carton in the summer when i am in europe. I always said to myself, this kind of cold refreshing soup would be so foreign to asian ppl. So glad to have been proved wrong. :D

  • Yes, you can use any kinds of crispy cucumbers. And any vinegar will be ok.

  • This soup looks very refreshing. I've eaten a soup very similar to this at a Korean restaurant. The only thing I see missing are the noodles and a hard boil egg. Is this an entirely different soup or are there different variations to this soup?

  • This soup is side dish. You will have to eat this with rice. The cold noodle soup (meal) is different from this soup. Check out my cold noodle soup recipe. thanks,!

  • u could also put a pinch of red pepper power (kochu karoo) for those who like a spicy taste only a pinch though, you dont want the soup color to be red

  • if you browse through her videos you will find many vegetarian friendly foods. I am also vegetarian, and many of her viewers are vegetarian. Maangchi does her best to make the food "accessible" to everyone.
