I was in the left passenger side of the chevrolet spark that crash into an electric pole after an asshole gave us a scare by coming into our lane. very similar to the crash above, and I can gladly say even without the airbag.. neither me nor the driver was badly injured. All thanks to the crush of the chevrolet front.

It is hard to tell if a car is safe or not just observing it. A modern safe car has to absorb the crash energy and disipate it from passengers, for this reason some parts get crushed like front end (crumple zones) and the center of the car or interior should be intact (life cell).
