Asgard beams would cut through the armor on a battlestar as if it wasn't there. Without beams, but with beaming nukes in, I'd put my money on Stargate. Without either, I wouldn't bet either way unless the numbers were ridiculously biased.

@powerblue123 stargate is more scifi where as battlestar is more science fact because more of what happens in battlestar could happen in real life as soon as we come up with the technological know how like in the year 2500 or some thing

I don't like stargate. It's to happy and they are constantly talking about shields, lasers en more techno blabla while they keep making bad jokes.
Bsg is superior in almost every thinkable way: writing, drama, acting, action, realism, music and special effects.
