Will have to wait - there has been Musclenerd from Dev Team saying it would not really work as you would be able to call people but they won't be able to call you... Not sure how true that is though as he hasn't even had one to test! He also slated the Gevey when it first came out but we all know now that it did work...!

i have a question, my baseband is 04.11,08 locked to at&t but i can activate it without a sim??? and use like ipod or camera, its not jailbroken, does that make any sense, when i put a vodaphone sim in, it just says invalid sim, but before in itunes i used to get a message saying, you need to use the original sim but i dont get that either when i connect to itunes now, its strange or what ??? does it mean anything ???

ive been stuck with an expensive ipod for a little while now when i got blasé with an ios upgrade. I saw this on an unlock blog about 3 weeks ago, I wouldnt part with my cash until i see a YT vid of it working- the proof is in the pudding. Maybe the only way of escaping Apple's new blob catching attitude is 1. Change the chip in the phone that deals with carriers or 2. Buy a legit Iphone. 3. Go Android ? Anyone? Im thinking about it. (your loss 'un-open' Apple.)

@TheTomOwen I'm not sure I would go that far to change the chip to be honest!? I would consider buying an iPhone 4S directly from Apple but maybe that is what Apple want you to do? I've had an Android and don't want one again! I guess no company is perfect!
