To another guitar player....All I have is a guitar and a laptop with a web-cam. How can I get a couple of tracks at the same time? If you watch my vid, you can hear the mic on my laptop is BAD, should I invest in a decent mic?

Did you record one track on your comp....then play it and play guitar and sing over the top while recording? PLZ tell me your secret you iccle pretty muffin! 7th x

Usually a cover really evolves and benfits when the singer adds his/her own character to the song. In my opinion "Into Dust" should be left untouched or at least unaltered. No matter who gives it a try...

Wow, loving the voice. I learned to play this track about 16 years ago (showing my age!) and still love playing the simple melody but sadly as a 16 stone bloke who smoked for 20 years my voice isn't really up to the task!! Might have a crack at doing a vid of me playing it though as you've inspired me to play it again. Maybe I'll use the electric and an Echo Park pedal for some atmosphere.

Your solo voice is right, whilst remaining original. Was also impressed with the harmonies , which I assume you 'overtracked.

The echo effect I add on in my editing software, and the "echo" that you're reffering to is me singing. I sing both tracks and put them ontop of each other when I edit the video :) Thanks for your comment!

Thats ok :) You should definatly use more professional software than me. I mean, I am no pro and can't really afford awesome software! But I used Ulead videostudio 12. Its a videoediting software, not audio, you should contact someone more professional than me xD Anyway, good luck!!
