untilt your snare, no offence but having it like chris adlers wont make you play like him. I tried it at the beginning, and it's so much easier when it's not as tilted, and you also get a way better sound.

Try with just a slight tilt.

Bro, nice play along! Like you said in the describtion it's a bit sloppy, but you hit it most of the time. You just either need more takes, I know I can be lazy sometimes and do 1 take, or just tighten it up cause you are hitting all the fills and the bass is the right speed and hits just needs to be on time.

8/10 or 4/5 stars!

yea, I don't know if it's the sound quality of the video or the acoustics of your set that's making it sound bad, but otherwise you nail everything down in one of the best songs off "ashes of the wake", nice work

Other than that, you're technique is coming on very well. L.O.G is excellent practicing music for someone wanting to play metal on drums. You've got the basics of the techniques down, now it's all about getting everything nice, clean and tight, and getting properly comfortable with playing those techniques and beats.

Overall, good video man, keep up the hard work and you'll be flying through this and so much more in no time.

You really should be reskinning and retuning all your drums. Particularly your toms. Try a tighter tuning for the batter heads and a lower one for the bottom heads. Just play around with things.

If you're looking for the L.O.G sound from your snare, tighten both heads, and replace your snare wires (look for at least 24 wire ones) and tighten them too. Really tighten the shit out of the batter, and tilt your snare so it's more level to make it easier to do the rimshots that Chris Adler uses.

nice job but evrything seems kinda "clinky" in my opinion(pardon my dumb ass word lol) I think your floor bass drum (I'm just a guitarist I don't have a clue what that things called) needs to ring a little longer rather than sounding like a pillow being beaten by a stick and your snare and everything else should go down a little in pitch, but your quite good, its just equipment faults makes a good player turn horrible in no time flat.

The breakdown is easier than you'd think, it's just two hits on floor and snare then kick to snare. The hard part is continuing the double kick slower in between the bars in the second part.
