  • @Mutleytech Thanks, yes Ongar has a lot work being done now but is not open yet apart from Open days.

  • awesome video Tim !, that is one mint 37 !!!!!!

  • @hihat101 Yes it is very nice but the batteries had to be replaced & they weighed a ton!

It has a crack in the glass of the headcode as well.

  • @TimBrown59 , WOW!, yep those batteries are not your average duracell !

  • @hihat101 I believe they cost about £4,000!

  • @TimBrown59 , nothing is cheap when it comes to railway heritage !

nice to see the 25 & 31 now up at Ongar,

  • @hihat101 I think the owner has found that out!

  • @TimBrown59 LOL , that's why i never complain about paying the odd couple of quid to the event or open days held at most railway organisations, because it cost's so much to upkeep and maintain a working railway as we both know, i'm thinking about joining the EOR actually, its more the time to get down to ongar which is the issue for me mainly as i'm on mostly nights at the moment, and they sometimes roster me in the odd saturday night for the possessions

  • @hihat101 I'm not sure when I'll return to Ongar, probably not until next year now.
