Another great thing about john butler is that he is singing to his guitar. U can hear it in his busking performances when he has a mic around his neck that he cannot put away during solos. He sings the nots that he wants to play( in such live performances you can see that he turns the mic away when doing solos. I don't know why but I think it's soo cool to be able to have such a relationship with and instrument ^^

why? why? why? do people prefer listening to studio quality than live, especially with John Butler. Whats wrong with people? It is the same with the new single, it's good but sounds almost slightly poppy because there is no raw sound, the live one much better. I'm not dissin the J man he's the god its just this type of music was made to be live, so much passion in a live performance!!
